Description:
Hari has olive skin, a hook nose and pale green eyes that are set between dark brows that would be thick, if they were not constantly regrowing due the tendency of Hari's "experiments" to go awry. Hari keeps his curly black hair cut short to make sure it doesn't get in the way when he his mixing reagents. Hari has a wiry build to his medium height frame, with quick steady hands. Years of practicing with unstable materials have granted Hari a economy of motion, with little unnecessary movement. In conversation Hari is generally terse and soft spoken, unless the subject is alchemy or the ancient technological wonders of Numeria in which case he will gladly real off far more information then the listener is asking for.
Background:
Born and raised in the town of Torch, Hari has always been fascinated by science and the world around him. Hari has always been fascinated by the ancient runes and artifacts found in the region, keeping meticulous notes on a trinkets he could get his hands on. He has filled tomes with these notes and accompanying diagrams. What little time Hari spends on devotion, is directed to Brigh, although Hari's observance is more superstition and tradition then true faith. Hari has no love for the technic league, as he finds there attempts to control technology infuriating. Hari's inquisitive nature eventual lead to an apprentice ship with Khonnir Baine. While Hari didnt possess the knack to be a full mage, he did have a measure of skill for mixing reagents to create wild and sometimes explosive results. When the towns name sake torch went out Hari wanted to join Khonnir in trying to find the source of the disturbance, only being mollified after Khonnir returned with broken down automaton. Hari has devoted a great deal of time to studying the machine trying to discern its purpose and any links it may have to the "Torch". With Khonnir's disappearance Hari has decided the time for study is over and that it is time for action. As an a self styled expert on the ancient technology found in the region Hari has signed on to join the next expedition to find what caused the Torch to disappear and find his missing mentor.
