Here are things I'd like to see from my players

Player Expectations:
  • Have fun!
  • Players are expected to post 1/day throughout the week and once between Saturday and Sunday. On this I’ll be a little flexible, but if you end up over 48 hours overdue, I reserve the right to post for you to the best of my interpretation of your character.
  • In-character conflicts will be discussed out-of-character. It's easy enough to misread and get feelings hurt in person, nevermind on the internet.
  • Party will be responsible for loot tracking.
  • Post in 3rd-person limited. Preview your dice rolls and use the result in your post; I'll provide ACs and save bonuses for adversaries so you can describe the action completely. To balance this out, all Knowledge checks to identify & learn about creatures will see +5 to the DC.
  • Similarly, I'll roll saves or reactive skills for your characters as needed.
  • Please format your race/class line as follows - OOC text represents numbers:
    HP: current/total|Init: +init|AC: AC/flat-footed/touch | CMD CMD | Saves: +Fort/+Ref/+Will | Perception: +Perception | Knowledge (all) +Knowledge

  • This is my code that informs my gamemastering style. This doesn't directly affect you as a player; rather, this section is about the game I strive to run. I leave it here so you can know what to expect.
    GM's Creedo:
  • I try to immerse and be immersed.
  • It is not possible to roleplay poorly.
  • The GM is the captain, not the coal.
  • Trust is the bridge that connects the GM to the plays.
  • If someone doesn't have fun, then our time is squandered.
  • Characters and setting meet in the middle, and your characters are from here.
  • A module is at best a template; no part of the story is preordained.
  • Challenges have purpose in the game and a place in the world.
  • The spotlight is shared.
  • The agency of a character may be wholly separate from that of their player.
  • A good game is my highest priority; the rules support this, but do not define it.
  • I aim to be swift and blunt in the recognition and resolution of problems.
  • I will actively tinker with the system to improve everyone’s experience.
