Wuse Guy sits in the most popular bar in his home town. He eyes the crowd looking for someone he knows from his childhood. There across the bar at a table is a group of three of them. Three of the people who tormented him in his childhood. He spins in his barstool making sure his face is in plain sight of them. It's not long before they notice him, point, start laughing, and head over to the obviously inebriated Wuse Guy.
"Hey slanty eyes, long time no see. Or can you even see with those small slits of eyes"
The group erupts in laughter. A smile crosses Wuse's lips as he stumbles out of his stool.
O i cansh shee just fine buddy, and my eysh show me three shtumpy dwarfs talking to their bhetter.
Laughs all around as the crew of three continue prodding their target. The second dwarf pokes Wuse in the belly a couple of times.
"Still a skinny little weakling huh. Doesn't your mother feed you boy. Oh wait I forgot she died from the sorrow of loosing that Tien trash father of yours."
Again the group erupts into laughter and yet again Wuse just smiles knowing the best insult is yet to come and savoring the rage he knows it will induce in his drunken mind.
Damn shtraight my father was an ash.His face turns serious and sober. But don't you ever talk about my mother like that!
More laughs from the tormentors as Wuse readies himself for the final torment he remembers vividly from his youth. The third says...
"Looks at that guys looks like our little wussy guy has a bit of a bark."
They all sing in unison
"Wussy Guy, Wussy Guy, Wussy Guy can't hu..."
The song is stopped short as Wuse cold cocks the third knocking him completely unconscious.
The Names Wuse Guy!(pronounced like Bruce Lee)Now who wants thier payback first HA HA HA HA HA!
He laughs maniacally as he beats the tar out of the second as the first tries to run away. He runs after him pulling a chair out from under another patron and flipping a table full of beer(after grabbing one for himself of course) He smashes the chair over the first's back knocking him to the ground. All hell breaks loose as 100 dwarves see gallons of beer spill onto the ground. 1 hour later Wuse is thrown out a window. He stumbles up brushes the glass off his clothes and says.
Well, that was fun. One down 999 to go

Arvind "The Hammer" Grunwald |

Arvind was created for a strange 30pt Kingmaker game, but I'll put him in the mix here and see what happens. He's a cleric of Cayden Cailean, (Travel and Chaos) ... he's the black sheep of his family. Dropped in a barrel of ale when he was born, it seems that it was sign of the chaotic life that then followed Arvind where ever he went.
Unlike the majority of his clan, he always had a yearning to 'see the world'. The world is full of taverns.
Working on a more complete background.

Duran Daemric Davadar |

Duran Daemric, firstborn son of Aemaric Duran of House Davadar. Heir to House Davadar and Stoneward Fields, owner of Stonewood Castle.
Okay, this is enough for the flavor background introduction, now more into the details:
Concept: Dwarven noble from a Great House, but not actual head of family. Warrior-type character with divine ties, but not an actual cleric or similar.
The concept has been somewhat hard to come up with, despite being the first to support the idea for a full-dwarven campaign in the original thread, I planned first to go the more classical dwarven warrior or cleric path, but as I have seen many others also thought along those lines, i decided to look for something which is more "fresh" in idea but still retaining the underlying idea of a dwarven themed character capable as a fighter but also somehow related to divine powers.
I found the ideal fit in Advanced Races Guide, the Dwarven Paladin Archetype Stonelord.
The class has everything I looked for, it is based on the paladin class but gives up all spellcasting abilities in favor for stone-related abilities which support its warrior core concept, the Archetype is dwarven-only, so unlikely I will pick it in other campaigns, the whole focus on underground and stone theme is obviously great for dwarves as well. Not to mention I like the flavor of having an earth elemental instead of the usual paladin mount.
Other pieces of the background puzzle:
I don't want any ingame benefit of the background at start, although I do consider to take "Rich Parents" as one of my traits even though mostly for flavor (as I don't really have any ideas how to spend most of the gold), I do think I could hire a bodyguard on low levels though, and consider taking the Leadership feat if we ever get to level 7.
I consider taking the feat at first level that allows 2 more traits, so I can pick from those that would fit my character and help flesh it out more, traits like "Tunnel Fighter", "Glory of Old"(to be related to old heroes, actual setting doesn't matter), "Eye for Quality"(this trait makes appraise a class skill) are some of which I think about right now. On later levels I plan to take some dwarf-specific cleave feats.
The Faith:
Ereshkal is a Neutral Good Earth/Underworld/Merchant goddess with access to Earth/Trade/Good/Defense/Death domains (not that it matters for my non-casting paladin). Also known as "Defender of Mountains", "Underworld Merchant", "Guardian of Traders", "Lady Commander of the Death Sentinels".
Favored weapon: earth breaker
My idea was that if divine classes can follow an idea or morality as they pick domains as they want then it would be interesting to be a follower of a recently emerged, fresh god(dess) which is mostly unknown at the point of game start. So I created Ereshkal of which my character and the whole family will be a follower of. She appeared as divine entity only a dwarven generation ago, but the whole Davadar family converted to her faith.
This is mostly for flavor and I hope you allow it, she would work especially well for the Stonelord as a patron deity.
Conclusion:
So, this is the character and its background a bit more in details, if you don't allow the class, any of the traits mentioned, or the idea of the minor goddess which the char would follow please say so, and I modify those parts. Last I checked there was no mention of using any premade setting or gods so I thought making a concept which also adds some unique things (like the goddess, or the whole noble family, or the places I named could also get used if you like them) to the game would be fun and a nice touch of flavor.
PS: would like to know what you think of alternate racial traits, I think of taking Deep Warrior, Mountaineer, and Magic Resistant.

Kilaim Orefinder |

I feel fairly confident that Kilaim is finished. I assumed traits but only took one. Thanks!
Kilaim works his waraxe in a wide sweeping routine, taking chunks of wook from the post. Crouching low he rushes in, crashing into it with his muscular shoulder. The post groans and cracks under the stress. As it begins to give way Kilaim reverses his motion and drops into a backward roll, again sweeping his heavy axe, this time in an upward arch and rolls away.
Looking good Kilaim. Calls a friend from across the training yard.
Aye, thanks. Been workin' o' that'n fer awhile now. Kilaim calls back as he wipes his hands and face on a towl.
Tossing the towel aside he picks up his heavy shield. He takes a few practice swings with his axe and sets himself into a solid fighting stance. His breathing quickens and his muscles begin to tense. His eyes widen suddenly. Bloodshot and wild they glaze over. Now grinding his teeth uncontrolably he lets out a blood curdling roar and charges the post again. With a powerful swing of his axe it splinters apart leaving a shattered stump.

Duran Daemric Davadar |

Firbell Moleskin wrote:For your consideration.I thought for sure I would be the shortest in the group lmao
I wait with the RP piece until I have a proper and acceptable concept, doesn't help much if I get into a role which then gets changed, I would have to adapt to the new version then. Also, I didn't even roll height because of that, so in the end I may be shortest or largest :) (not that it matters)

He picked up the name Faubeard, because he's always accidentally burning his beard off when he dreams of being in battle. Youngest of Eight brothers, he always tried to be older than he really was, and left for a life of adventuring...probably a bit before he should have. Now he finds himself puttin on a brave front, and pretending that he has a lot more experience than he does. It's not uncommon for him to confidently shout out combat advice that he "read" somewhere...often with serious or whimsical results.
"I've fought these many times before guys"! "They're skeletons"! "Use your pointed weapons or shoot arrows at them"! "Come on we gottem"! "Ahhhhhhhh"!

Bormir Anvilfist is a tunnel rat. He traverses the forward edges of the dwarven tunnels looking to bring the fight to the enemy. He has learned to fight in close quarters where weapons are of no use. His body is the only real weapon he needs. He fights like a badger, he grappels his pray and uses his fist, elbows, knees, and even his head to beat his enemy into submision.
