Adventures for single player

Pathfinder Adventure Path General Discussion

I run a weekly game for my fiance - just the two of us. We've been playing D&D 3.5 - and I'm a savvy enough DM to create adventures for her single character, single character plus cohort, or her running two characters. We just finally picked up Pathfinder, and I keep hearing about how great the adventures and adventure paths are, and really want to give them a try. I haven't run a pre-made adventure in about 15 years.

So, my question is: Are there any Pathfinder adventures or adventure paths that would work better than others with a small number of characters (1-2)?

Thanks! :)

I'm very much interested in this as well - as I'm considering running one for my wife.

Any thoughts Paizo Veterans? :)

There is a company that made a few single PC(player character) games, but I can't seem to remember the name. They are geared toward specific classes though. Nothing Pathfinder makes would work for 1 or 2 people without heavy modification.

Liberty's Edge

Well...I haven't played it, but Jade Regent, by design, is you traveling with a group of NPCs with full personalities and extensive interactions. They even have the basic makeup of a decent party. Expanding their roles to actually help the player out in combat (possibly with the player controlling them) seems like it could be made to work, with a bit of effort.

That's probably the only AP you can really get away with soloing. I really have no idea on other adventures.

Dark Archive

1 on 1 adventures by expeditious retreat press. If she wants to play a rogue, you could start with Gambler's Quest followed by the Olindor trilogy.

David found it.
