Oh, in recruitment, it generally means "I'm interested." I think it's a reference to the fact that once you post in a thread, a dot appears next to it. GMs will often ask players selected for a game to "dot" the discussion/gameplay thread, which basically means "submit a post to those threads, the content doesn't really matter." I believe by posting in the gameplay thread, the campaign is added to your list of campaigns, but I'm not sure if dotting a discussion thread does anything (I suspect nothing other than the aforementioned marking of the thread when viewing a list of all discussion threads).
