Airyn's eyes catch on the semi-precious stones inlaid upon the diorama. To steal is to praise, this god of humanity taught. Surely this wonder is so worthy. And we'll have something to show Janira.

In addition Lydia gains the divine ability to speak Swedish, and hears a voice telling her that tonight's winning numbers will be "1, 14, 22, 24, 31, 32, 38, with a Power Ball of 17", While Airlyn (for no reason at all) gains the facility to play the trombone really, really well.
Sidi Yawgu |
Sidi looks around the cave, looking for the source of the chiming. He turns to the gillman upon Uori's comment.
"You heard that?"
Tawner Kelenfold |
"I heard it too, Sidi. Maybe we should get the others off of that island." The chiming makes Tawner feel uneasy.

Hallimir Duskrin |
Still unsure what has happened, Hallimir turns back to Uori,
"So Uori, I am curious, why ha e the Azlanti have chosen an Ancient Shrine to a dead God as the place for meditation and worship. Also, would you mind explaining the significance of the full moon? "

try again :-)
Hallimir, that guy who tries to impress his Scottish friend with his Scottish accent even though Hallimir has never actually been to Scotland. "Aye laddy, I was just ut and aboot!" "Yeah, that's great." Technically you don't have to roll again unless I ask, he's already been made friendly (for him) despite Hallimir best efforts.
"How should I know? Why did he pick it? As for the the full moon well you see it is just one of many lunar phases. A lunar phase is the shape of the illuminated (sunlit) portion of the Moon as seen by an observer on Golarion. The lunar phases change cyclically as the Moon orbits Golarion, according to the changing positions of the Moon and Sun relative to the Golarion." He draws a diagram on the floor of the cave with his finger and strikes a professorial tone. "The Moon's rotation is tidally locked by Golarion's gravity, therefore the same lunar surface always faces the planet. This face is variously sunlit depending on the position of the Moon in its orbit. Therefore, the portion of this hemisphere that is visible to an observer on Golarion can vary from about 100% (a 'full moon') to 0% (a 'new moon'). The lunar terminator is the boundary between the illuminated and darkened hemispheres. Each of the four "intermediate" lunar phases (new, first quarter, full, and last quarter) is roughly seven and a half days, but this varies slightly due to the elliptical shape of the Moon's orbit. Many of the world's mystical traditions ascribe magical significance to the various individual phases. The full moon in particular is thought to influence the activities of were-creatures, lunatics, calendar-makers, certain animals, and so-called normal people both above and below the waves. There's a saying in the sea: 'It must be a full moon up there'. We say it when things are all mucked up."
Tawner Kelenfold |
After the Gillman's explanation of lunar cycles, Tawner leans over to Hallimir, and with as straight a face as he can manage says, "Write that down." . A very small grin escapes him.
Sidi Yawgu |
Sidi's expression becomes more and more one of confusion as Uori begins to discuss lunar phases. Suddenly, he scrambles through his pack to find his parchment and pencil. He scribbled down the dictation as best he can--as accurately as he can given the complexity of the subject matter.
Hallimir Duskrin |
Hallimir, that guy who tries to impress his Scottish friend with his Scottish accent even though Hallimir has never actually been to Scotland.
typo....my bad. Its what u get for posting on a phone :-)
Hallimir blinks blankly at Uori several times as he tries to process the Gillman's rantings.
"I see... very, err, interesting", he replies in a semi-sarcastic tone as he gives Tawner a look of disdain. After a moment staring at the diagram, Hallimir stands up and continues, "Well, as we mentioned earlier, we are on a mission to map these caves. We would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide.....do you know much of the remaining tunnels?"
Uori |

typo....my bad. Its what u get for posting on a phone :-)
It wasn't any typos. It was just the fact you were rolling dice. Like making a Climb roll after you've made it to the top sorta thing. ;)
Hallimir blinks blankly at Uori several times as he tries to process the Gillman's rantings.
"I see... very, err, interesting"
"Or... do you mean the fact that the tides are higher during a full moon and therefore it is easier for my people to approach this place?"
After a moment staring at the diagram, Hallimir stands up and continues, "Well, as we mentioned earlier, we are on a mission to map these caves. We would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide.....do you know much of the remaining tunnels?"
"The things in the deep caves of this place are unknown to me." He looks back a forth between the two side passages. Their mossy stalactites making them look like gaping maws. "Only I know that they are deadly to my folk. Many pilgrims have not returned from this place of late--even members of my own school."
Tawner Kelenfold |
Tawner unconsciously stiffens. He slowly rolls his head around his shoulders and then says in a matter-of-fact tone, "Well, now we know what happened to the Gillwomen. Most likely killed. Possibly eaten. I suggest we report back to the Pathfinder Society what we have learned."
He turns and walks back to the tunnel where they entered, both hands pressing on his lower back. He turns to see if the others are going to follow.
Airyn Skystalker |
Airyn climbs slowly out of the water, "It worries me that gillwomen have not returned." he looks at Tawner, "We do not know what happened here. We should take a look around. Cautiously, of course." he says drawing his sickle.
Sidi Yawgu |
"If there is some hungry beast killing Uori's people when they come to meditate in the waters, we should try to drive it away or put an end to it," Sidi advises Tawner, "How can you hear of their plight and then brush it aside because it was not explicit in our task?"
Sidi climbs back up the stone flow and turns to beckon the others to follow to the west.
Tawner Kelenfold |
"We're aren't soldiers!" Tawner shoots back with more vehemence than he meant. He looks at Sidi; the hardness in his eyes, the strength in his body.
"I'm sorry, Sidi. I didn't mean to snap at you."
He looks at his own hands. "I'll help where I can. Maybe they are still alive."
Sidi Yawgu |
Tawner's angry words wash over Sidi like the surf over a salt covered rock. "I am thankful that the Pathfinders that found me did not have that attitude.
"We are not soldiers--except maybe the Silver Crusade--but we are capable of fighting. Just as we fought the giant fleas. Only this time it is Uori's people, not our traveling companions, who are threatened."
Hallimir Duskrin |
Hallimir Nods in agreeance with Sidi and slaps Tawner over the shoulder " Besides, Tawner, I thought you said you wanted to Experience life as an adventurer. At the very least you can stand behind me and keep me from dying again" he says with chuckle.
Hallimir heads over towards Sidi and draws his mace.
Tawner Kelenfold |
And with that, Tawner follows the group taking up his usual spot behind Hallimir and El Garrapata. This time, however, he will not be caught unaware. He puts on his shield and readies it. Then draws his scimitar smoothly, flexing his grip several times to get a really good hold of it.
He nods his readiness.

Down the maw!
After a thirty minutes and number of dead ends, rubble-choked passages, and cul-de-sacs the narrow, bluish-fungi-lit main tunnel broadens to reveal a shallow river that bisects an immense tunnel stretching to the north and south. To the east a small passage exits the chamber at a steep upward incline.
Furtive shapes slink about the far side of the cavern. Two small furtive, scaled humanoids of dog-like mean carrying spears--kobolds! Whatever could they be up to down here?
Instantly they begin making faces at the party each rotating through a select few jeers: waving at them with their thumbs in their ears, while shouting, wagging their tails at the party, pulling down one lower eyelid with a finger and sticking out their tongues. "Nya, Nya!"
Each character may make one knowledge check. Open all the spoilers that apply.

Technically, there is no rules application that allows for that (perhaps unchained rogues). Without certain Feats you can only target one foe, and your options are include coercing or temporarily altering a target's attitude toward you (scare them into being receptive to your 'suggestions'), or simply shaking them, inflicting the shaken condition upon on target.
That said, given your relative size, numbers, and lack of sensible verbal/diplomatic skills (in Draconic anyhow) these two don't really want to stand and fight the party. They are Kobolds after all.
The Kobolds run off up the steep incline.

Edit However it seems that El has triggered one of their readied attack actions by closing with them
