Nice. :-)

Koshukhep wrecks the double-dealing merchant's kiosk, causing dozens of coppers in damage to his wares.

Fazeem runs as far and as fast as he can.

Moving us forward tonight. So if anyone has any other business in town, now is the moment.

After a night's sleep and some errands in the city, the Band of the Black Fire return to the Sanctum of the Erudite Eye. The head directly to the stairs leading below.

Area D12

A stone bench sits against the eastern wall of this octagonal chamber. Black tiles line the floor, walls, and ceiling. A short passage to the south ends at a gate of bronze bars.

The gate to the south is closed and locked.

Survival DC 20 (tracking):

You detect faint bloody footprints between the gate and the stairs.

K. Engineering or Dungeoneering, Disable Device DC 15:

Once opened, the gate automatically swings closed and relocks on the following round unless somehow prevented from doing so. This is a mechanical feature caused by concealed springs in specially designed hinges, as well as the design of the lock. This automatic closing and relocking feature can be permanently disabled with a separate successful DC 25 Disable Device check.

"Tracks. Our wounded friend has been this way," Koshukhep rumbled, squatting to examine the faint marks on the floor. His neck was conspicuously bare of the shiny, shiny charm he had borne previously, though he still wore others here and there.

Which way do the tracks go - toward the bars? I presume so, but I'd like to be sure.
I can move the icon.

To the gate, yes.

"Surely," Kwin says as he moves into position. With a derisive snort after briefly examining the lock, he doesn't even bother to unroll his kit, simply banging it on one end and taking the first two tools that present themselves.

Instead of lying still where he fell, Koshukhep rolled away and staggered to his feet, backing away from the terribly efficient guardian.

"Careful, Kwin. That thing loosened my teeth," he grunted; no need to tell the others about the zinging stars in his vision that danced in time to his throbbing head. They would only worry.

Hill Dwarf Fighter (Siegebreaker, Brawler) 2 AC 20/12/18 / HP : 28/28 / F +6(9) R +2(5) W +2(5) / Init. +2 / Perc. +2 / Sense Motive +2

Torin provides some covering fire for Koshu:

Pew: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 1 - 1 = 27
Confirm?: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 - 1 = 9
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 + 2 = 13

Pew: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 - 1 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 + 2 = 9

Koshukhep backs away while Kwin tries to take his place to less-than-hoped-for success. Meanwhile, Torin unleashes a volley that heavily damage the statue, but don't quite bring it down.

Round 2 to 3

Koshukhep: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Torin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Djehuti: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Ahmed: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Izra: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Kwin: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Monster: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Suri: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Bold are still up.

Eidolon 4 [ HP: 28/28 | AC: 17 | T: 15 | FF: 16 | Fort +4 / Ref +2 / Will +3 | Init +5 / Percept +6 (Darkvision) ]

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Without speaking, Suri and Ahmed move to close the gap between where Koshu backed up, keeping themselves between him and the statue while he recovers.

Suli Summoner 4 [ HP: 27/27 | AC: 15 | T: 12 | FF: 13 | Fort +2 / Ref +3 / Will +5 | Init +2 / Percept +8 (Low-Light) ]

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

This fight is not going super great, and these rolls aren't helping. >_>

Male Elf (Osiriani) Wizard 4 [HPs: 31|31 - AC: 15|13|12 - For:+3 | Ref:+4 | Wil:+4 - Per:+5 (Low-light) Init:+9 (Can always act in the surprise round)]

Djehuti pulls out another vial of acid and lobs it at the statue nearly drops it on his own feet.

Vial of acid: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Daaaang, dicebot. What did we ever do to you?
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Any chance it's too big to fit through the doorway? If we could back out of the room and just throw/shoot stuff at it from range, that would be awesome.

It looks like it's exactly big enough to fit through the hallway. Giving Izra until tomorrow.
