What are our options for the outcome? Do we have the authority to bring her into custody if she doesn't repent?

I missed that there was no clear instruction, but Ollystra wants any findings to be reported to her. You can choose any other paths you would like, but be aware of the consequences. For example, if you choose to 'citizen arrest' Auntie Baltwin, you will have to deal with the unattended kids for one. Not saying it's a bad idea, but if you have genuine concerns, play to your characters.

Ugh. So why did we confront the crone in the first place if we weren't supposed to take any action? We could have quietly reported on her and see her off to jail :( I feel lawful stupid right now.

Did we lose Radig, Jericho, and Arathorn? I don't think I've seen them post yet.

Im still here, Arathorn isnt much of a covnersationalist, and I was afraid of an untrained roll with no modifier on the diplomacy and sense motive checks. I will post today in game play.

While on the subject of Class E poison (hehehe), how do you all want reactive saving throws done? I can roll them, removing such downtime. Or I'll post it and you can roll. I'm fine with either.

Personally, I'm fine with DM doing as much rolling as fits the situation, as long as the actual choices are left to the player.

In table-top (or heck, life in general), I tend to make alot of little comments like that, so it's hard for me to just say 'GM Rolls', I need my little twist.

I also say yes to you making our saves, checks, etc. for us to help with pacing, as long as we still get to make our own choices.

As a note, I will still be posting from this alias. However, since this one is not registered in Society, I registered a character in PFS under the simple title of 'Jiece.'

I'm in agreement. I simply rolled the saving throw this time around since I was already aware that it required one (Seeing as how you said it'd take a reflex save). If you tell me it requires one, I can do it. Otherwise for things already stated above (Saves, Initiative, Perception, etc.) feel free to roll away as everyone's right in the fact that it helps speed things along.

I think everyone is in agreement on this one.

As a note to the GM, Jiece is a member of the Sczarni faction.

I thought I had mentioned this at some point, but apparently did not. The First Steps series is designed to introduce people to all 10 factions and get them some experience before deciding on their faction. The characters are considered unfactioned until the completion of the third part, where they decide on their faction and gain retroactive prestige for all three. Any questions on that?

A character who has a faction can run through First Steps just the same as one without. There simply isn't a faction mission to accomplish. This has been mentioned not only in the forums by Mike Brock (though I'm not sure where at this exact moment) but by my local Society GM as well. If Jiece being a part of the Sczarni is a problem, I can go ahead and pull him from this game if you'd prefer.

That's no problem with me, just not something I realized. As you said, there's no faction mission. so not exactly any changes I can tell (aside from being part of said faction).

I'm sorry to see you go Severed Ronin, I really enjoyed your character. I hope I'm not the cause of your disappointment - Daniel simply isn't the type of character who could contribute much to either solving a puzzle or conducting an undercover operation.

As I have gotten three responses (the minimum needed), I will continue on. If not able to before, I will have a post off when I get home from work tonight (approx 5 hours from this post). If any others wish to continue on, let me know. Sorry for the delays.

At present looks like wehave Daniel von Dorn (flykiller), Jericho Daskin (MisterLurch), and Geral Simmons (Ironic Hero) left in game. If Radig or Arathorn are still here, I'll assume they delayed and take their actions.

Honestly, I didn't leave due to any in-game reason. My family had some stuff going on that required our 100% attention (heart scare with a family member). I apologize if it seemed that way. @Daniel - It certainly wasn't Due to your character. Just the opposite, in fact. I rather enjoyed our conversations as they delved into the attitudes and personalities of two polar opposite individuals. If you guys still need a rogue's expertise (and with GM's permission) Jiece offers up his services once again.

Welcome back Severed Ronin! I have no issues with that whatsoever. Considering my own mother has had heart surgery and almost died, and both my biological and adpoted grandfathers died from them, I completely understand the scare that can bring. I hope everything worked out for the best it can.

Just a heads up that this weekend I will be attending a local anime convention to chaperone my youngest sister. My ability to post will be spotty.

I made a mistake earlier when I said Jiece was Sczarni. I was confusing them with Shadow Lodge (Jiece's actual faction). I know it doesn't have to be decided now but I prefer Shadow Lodge for Jiece based off his background. Just wanted that to be noted.
