Ok then, I was planning on playing a Bard, but that is not a strong magic user... I like mixing it up, like ranger/wizard/Ek/AA (good ranged attacks, with a truckload of skills to boot, from ranger)or... Warpriest/Wizard/EK (your neighbourhood Gish). But those aren't really wizards in the usual sense, though they are almost full casters, and can keep almost the full utility of the wizard.
So... I think I'll roll with an Evocation specialist, unless someone prefers the other alternatives :D
