As I read it, the successful sneak attack allows you to Study Target on the tiefling as an Immediate Action instead of as a Move Action, allowing you to apply bonuses to attack and damage on all subsequent attacks. Just not in the initial, triggering attack. I'm willing to hear the counterargument ;)
Pillette severely injures an archer, both in pride and body. Tynan slips into flank with Mortimer, his shortsword finding the side of the tiefling. Solrisa climbs the statue, seeking the balcony. Raella remains prone, grasping for her dropped weapon. Ascaria returns to central floor, bringing her more to life with his healing. Mortimer heckles the balcony boy, but fails to strike the old man standing mere inches from his own person.
The mace makes a final attack on Pillette, before disappearing. Its blow seems almost a rebuff for recently spoken infernal words...

Pillette narrowly avoids permanent blackness, healing herself quickly with a quaff. Tynan strikes again, moving almost in rhythm with his quarry, and the tiefling falls. Solrisa tries to finish what the slip started, but comes up short for her footing on the statue/ramp. Ascaria bleeds, then heals Raella. Mortimer continues to miss Thedrick with every flung fist. Raella gets to her feet, then joins her sister on the ascent to the balcony.
The tiefling archer turns away from the halfling, sure of his work, and sights the backstabber instead. He fires at Tynan.

Raella flies like the wind, ending up painfully close to the Asmodean.

Pillette taunts the tiefling in its last moments, as it slumps over on the floor of the southern balcony. Tynan reacquires his blade, and moves to the southern balcony, only to witness his quarry fall. Solrisa sidles up alongside her sister, and brings her soothing touch to bear.

Ascaria continues to bleed the wand of its precious healing stores. Mortimer grapples an old man, while Raella struggles to find her strength, missing the grappled old man with her blade.
Thedrick drops his heavy mace, almost managing to thump the giant's foot in the process. Out of sight, the old man pulls a dagger from his belt, and proceeds to stab at Raella, in spite of his current circumstance. He seethes at Mortimer, his breath tinged with spittle.
"You dare lay hands on me?! You think your meatslabs are enough to keep me from striking at your love?! Watch me..."

Shaking off the effects of the sonic attack, Tynan hastily snatches up his fallen short sword, and looks for his quarry. He sees the devilish archer fall to a crossbow bolt, and carefully sizes up the priest being grappled by Mort. (study target)

We'll root out every last one of your evil kin and put an end to what you're trying to start here, starting with you. Rae, please relieve him of his misery, however you so choose."

Mortimer lets the lifeless (and headless) body of Thedrick slump to the cold stony ground. He stares at it briefly but blankly, his chest heaving from the exertion of the combat.
He retrieves the key he dropped.
"Beware, Kendra might still be around, and I'm not really sure how those doors slammed behind me," he cautions.
He looks around, slightly in alarm. "Where's Canary and Pillette?" He produces a potion of healing from his backpack and holds it up. "Does anyone need this?"

Ascaria rushes the rest of the way to the battle site and stops short as Sol finishes another tiefling. He’s glad the combat is over, but he tastes the bitterness on his lips as the adrenaline burns through his system. He blurts out, ”What was that? Sol? Rae? Next time listen to Mort here and wait a tick before rushing in. This room was nearly our deaths and I don’t think it needed to be if we’re a little smarter. I’ve used nearly all my resources which is going to hurt if we have another tough fight. So everyone try not to get hit so much.”
He continues, ”OK, let’s get healed up while we can. If we leave, they’ll just double the guard on our return - or just find another place to hide their cult. So let’s press on, but first, healing!” he grins.
Ascaria goes around to the various party members applying the wand as needed, starting with Rae. As usual, please heal yourselves and I’ll track remaining wand charges.
He uses the wand a couple times on himself as well. "Hell Blessed!"

After everyone is healthy, Ascaria eyes Rae for a while, and then wonders. He looks at Pillette, considers Sol and Tynan, and looks back to Pillette. He concentrates on her a moment as well.

Relieved that the Little People are safe, Mortimer relaxes a little.

He was really trying to hit Rae. What was that?
Looks down at his arms as he reluctantly places the flask back into his backpack, and it dawns on him.Meatslabs. He meant my arms -- not the lot I'm with.
He cocks his head to the side and looks at Rae.
Oh, Rae! For a second I really thought you were a goner!

My "love"? What does he know of it? What would make him say something like that?

He glowers down at Thedrick's corpse. Were you saying that she knows who I am?!!

Does anyone? He shakes his head. It'd be nice, but even I don't know myself. Surely I'm just going mad. This must be all in my head.
Folding his arms, he leans up against the wall to rest patiently while waiting for the others to finish healing themselves before pressing on.

Ascaria checks the wand, "We've burned about half this puppy. I surely hope these cultists have some loot down here so we can replenish this thing when we get back."
He carefully tucks it in his belt.
"So what's the plan? Do we want to try going back a little and finish checking those doors we passed in our haste? Or press on and try to find Kendra?"
He casts Detect Magic and pokes around the bodies for items of clear value. Then rejoins the others.
He peers down the hallway, but sees little. "I suggest we press on rather than go back. I want to stop that Kendra as quickly as we can."

"I heard animals of some sort in the side room when I was scouting. I was going to come back and tell everyone, but someone decided to follow me and tipped our hand." Tynan gives Sol a look. "If Pillette or I are scouting, please wait patiently so we can give the group useful information, rather than all of us wandering into a death trap."

"I'm Sol, that's Rae. I think you have us confused," Sol reminds happily. "She's amazing so I'm not sure how you could have us confused. But she went in to go protect me, that's my big sister."
Sol ensures her shield is snuggly on her arm.
"I will, of course, let you scout ahead, Tynan. I hope the dragon protects you...however, if I see evil, I will not always wait."

Frustration is evident in Tynan's voice.
"No, Sol... it was you who followed me down the corridor, and then loudly started telling Mort about the statue you saw, alerting them that we were here. I remember things quite clearly, thank you. You followed not ten feet behind me, the noise from your armor, and voice, both quite noticeable."
This is what he's talking about. I couldn't figure out how to link an individual post.
"Mort, look! A statue!" Sol points off into the darkness.
Sol waits for Tynan to go and follows at a distance.
Tynan takes a deep breath, and continues.
"That's all done now. Should we take care of the beasts in that room we passed, or proceed after Kendra as Canary suggests? I'm inclined to agree with him. She could be alerting more cultists as we speak."

The throne on which you so recently perched appears to have a single red stone set in the left armrest. Its setting doesn't appear to be for ornamental purposes.

Solrisa finishes off the not-quite-firmly-dead tiefling archer, gathering his remaining arrows(10). The archer dons studded leather, as well as a similarly-crafted bow as the one Solrisa sports.
Tynan can see down the stairs, a well-lit passage meant for human eyes. A room awaits just ahead. Solrisa can see another set of stairs leading down from the balcony, the archer's intended retreat.

As the discussion of tactics takes place, Pillette will take a quick pat through the downed archers and/or heretical father (as far as she can get during the exchange), looking for anything particularly interesting. (Particularly items that look like potions, alchemical concoctions, wands or holy symbols.)
"Kendra should not be allowed to escape, if at all possible." She's not likely to be pleased with any of us, as we slew her half-breed mate, or with me, as I skewered her with a bolt.
