He wondered if it bothered his friends so much more befause they actually knew the word and what it meant. Feeling kind of like the dumb guy in the party, Grym shakes his head, Wow, that was terrible. I cant believe that word was spoken. I thought Chris was using, "Good Guys", to mean all Player Characters. But checking the spell description, it says all, "nonevil", creatures.

sorry, meant to ask a clarifying question a couple hours ago so I could post. But too busy at work. I'll just go ahead and muddle through the post

    Round 1

Again, Grym is a little surprised at how Odric and Sandor are dazed by the swear word. The ranger and signals to his trusty dog and the two of them slip between the two fighters and enter the yellow mist.

So I'm assuming that Grym or Bucho cannot see the thing that spoke the blasphemy. Since they can't see it, they can't attack it right?

The ranger gives Bucho the command to find the baddie. Trying his best to get the dog started in the right direction from where he heard the blasphemous word spoken. The ranger holds both his blades ready. If he can cut the evil being, he will try.

    Bucho perception 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (13) + 19 = 32 scent

    Grym perception 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27

I'm going to go ahead and post attacks. I'll let the DM work with this as he sees fit. I'm at a work computer. I can see the map but I can't move on it. Please move team ranger accordingly.

Odric fairly leaps through the door! I feel like I have the strength of a bear that has the strength of two bears!

After the horrid curse word washes over him, making the ordinarily saucy man blush and wilt slightly, he amends, "Perhaps just one bear. A smallish one."

Regardless, the hastend and heroic'ed warrior charges into the fray, fairly floating over the floor in his haste to engage. At that, he actually does float over the floor for a few steps buoyed by the magic Morkeleb imbued him with.

Spells aside, Odric has always found a sharp blade, sinew, muscle, and training has a magic all its own. With a shout, he commences his now familiar attack sequence!

    Power Attack (Furious Focus) with MW Keen Falchion +1: 1d20 + 19 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 19 + 4 + 2 = 29 for 2d4 + 11 + 9 + 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) + 11 + 9 + (4, 1) = 30 damage.

The warrior counters with his own swing, but can't connect. You only get one attack when you move, even when hasted. Haste grants an extra attack when making a full attack.

Grym and Bucho close while she tries to recover from her attack. Bucho tries to get a bite in, but can't connect Same thing, only one attack after a move.

Seeing this beastie desperate--or at least preparing to fight so--Morkeleb decides to try to cut off her formidable spellcasting ability.

He fixes her with a glare of concentration and even a touch of hatred. Stowing the Staff of Conjuration, his Bonded staff glows green, and fires off two beams of light: one at the she-devil's head, the other at Morkeleb's hand, which he's shaped into a claw. As with the Hag, the glowing rays create congruent "blobs" of light, one around the monster's head, and one in the wizard's hand. He slowly crushes the glowing blob with a shaking hand, keeping his eyes on his target, and slowly tilting his head in concentration. The glow around her head caves in "in time" with the one in his hand, as he attempts to snuff out her intellect and sanity.

Gifted Mesmerist daily use of Feeblemind. Will DC 25 (with a -4 penalty for her arcane spellcasting ability if you please) to negate.

Tank-Sandor rushes forward and knocks into the demon. Quick to take advantage of the dwarf's tactics, Grym gives a lightning thrust of his blade. Bucho is a fierce bundle of brindle fur, muscle, and snapping teeth. The dog is on her like a pitbull, (bc he is).

Odric grins with vicious mirth as he watches Sandor's ascent, and anticipating his rapid and forceful descent, the warrior times an upward cut of the Kegerator. As the evil creature crashes to the floor beneath Sandor's crushing assault Odric heaves the dwarf-forged blade upwards with all his strength.

Dang it. I forgot that Grym had failed his sae versus fear and it's been less than 24 hours, so only Grym needs a new save: Will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17.

Grym tries to bring his blade down, but can't overcome his fear again... Bucho and ODric have no such issues. Bucho bites hard, and Odric's swing would have split a rhino! Still she fights on though, albeit barely after the slice from Odric.
