Xing watches the man as he speaks with curiosity. Men in her country were never this forthcoming when it came to matters like this.
"Perhaps if you buy me a drink I will tell you my name." she grins a bit.

Lorenzo as you catch up, it appears to be too late as Dominic has already engaged the young lady in conversation, he is correct though she is attractive and exotic the likes of which you have never seen before.
"I can get you a drink my Lady", Xing the man looks around for a waiter as someone who looks not at all amused arrives...

"Who's your friend? she looks toward Lorenzo.
After catching up with Dominic, Lorenzo stands silent for a few brief moments upon seeing his brother's quarry equally enamored and curious. Hearing the woman's question, Lorenzo snaps out of his trance.
"I am Lorenzo Cappelli, this rather forward gentleman," he says gesturing toward his brother, "is my brother, Dominic."

"Federico! Glad am I to see you. These men are interested in stoppin tha foul murders moreso than being involved in politics, I hoped we might be able tah conclude our business wit tha Giovonni family."
"I would understand if you wanted us to conduct business first an let tha men investigate afterwards."

Xing stands and holds out her hand for them to shake/kiss whatever their custom may be.
"Please to meet you gentlemen. You look like your in a hurry Senior Lorenzo."
Social niceties having left Lorenzo years ago, he ignores Xing's held out hand out of distraction rather than attempt to be rude.
"Pleased to meet you as well. Yes, one could say that we are in a bit of a hurry."

The keeps her eyes glued to them as she talks.
A smirk crosses Lorenzo's face as he finds himself staying and talking longer than he had anticipated.
"That greatly depends on which one of the two of us you are asking."
"You have my gratitude for my training, but yes I have lots of business I need to catch up on. I have not been too attentive towards my gondola services since this all began I have some serious catching up or my rivals may take my connections and high profile clients."
Michael reaches for his belonging, readying himself for departure. Still sweating for the training.

She looks between the two.
"Well you are both here together and appear to be in a rush so figured you were both on the same task, besides coming here to talk to me."
She takes the drink from the barkeep and takes a sip.
"I am Xing."
"A pleasure to meet you, Xing. Dominic, let's get settled in. I am sure there will be plenty of time to flirt with lovely young women later."
She nods to them and continues to sip her drink.
Alessandro approaches cautiously, but not closer than about 3 meters. He quietly observes Beshter, attempting to sense how he... is different than the others.
Then he stands watch over the man, quietly waiting for him to return to the here and now. At all times, he is respectful.

Federico looks a bit nervous at the appearance of the two nights despite your reassurances. "We could meet with them today? It is already 2 in the afternoon but I suppose stopping in and asking if they have made arrangements with financiers would be a good idea. Certainly I am anxious to start my new business having quit with the Cappelli's last week".
Sir Baldemar speaks up, "I believe the family themselves are bankers, perhaps you can inquire about receiving financing from them directly".

As you watch Beshter closely you see that he is breathing, much like Alyssa is breathing, it must be that he like her is somehow inhabiting the body of a mortal and traveling by day. The scars on the back of his neck are odd, almost as if someone pulled the flesh into a certain position and left it there, not noticeable to the lazy eye but to an observant one like yours, there is something amiss there. You don't sense any differences that are detectable.
Beshter turns to you, the look in his eye noticeably different than it has been for the last few days.
"Sadir! Have we arrived? I fear I have lapsed again, the memories flood in and it is hard to control myself, Michael never spent time in torpor, so many memories its so hard to control... It looks rather bright outside, has the sun gone down yet? I see a sewer entrance here but I am not sure we should enter without having spoken with any of the Nosferatu first. I am starting to feel like this was a bad idea coming to Paris..."

With that confirmation, Lorenzo you are finally get Dominic away from women and back to the task at hand.
You, Dominic, and Moses enter the Inn and see an opulent front lobby. There are people milling about here including at a very nice bar serving drinks to people. It appears to be a place where foreigners with means stay in the city.
Dominic walks to the front desk and begins to make arrangements leaving you standing next to Moses, "It appears your brother wishes to hide in plain sight so to speak".
"That would seem to be the case. All in all not worst of infractions given the secrecy of those who might wish to do us harm."

"I have survived this long I think I can handle whats thrown at me. Besides I know this city better than you think. Now you know my business includes catering to some well made folk in the upper Escalon of this city who may not welcome people they do not know amongst their midst.

" my gondola business connects me to powerful figureheads in this city and among transporting goods it also bring a network of secrets they keep and that my friend is what makes my services valuable, and I cannot jeopardize that. It is what puts bread on the table and distinguishes me between my competitors"

Beshter laughs softly but you see panic well up in his features, "Alessandro? That is certainly a good Italian name but wait when did we arrive in Venice? That is a terrible idea! Narses I think has contact with Kestral! He will come after us again! 1309? No, its is not possible I could not have lost an entire century, could I...?"

Strange days or... nights, indeed. It is daytime, but are channeling your will through a mortal vessel and are not harmed by the sun's rays.
You arrived in Venice a few nights back. You somewhat trusted me, I do not know if that is the right word, trust. Kestral is here, Narses calls a gathering. Federico shrugs, "Perhaps I could but I would not want to leave my home here in Venice. The deal is not final yet, I have not signed the documents from the Giovanni as I have not yet secured other lands to grow. Perhaps we go and see them about this now? It is but early afternoon if nothing else we will make them aware that they need to assist us, no?"
Sir Martin chimes in, "Yes we should go now, let us waste no time in this".

Dominic comes back with a key, "The room is small and recently vacated but it will do for now. Let's go have a look". He smiles presumably at the prospect of doing something he has always wanted to do.
As the three of you head up to the fourth floor, lugging your belongings behind you, you admire the beauty of the architecture the Inn's interior has to offer.
"This may be the finest establishment I have ever stayed in", remarks Moses.
As you enter the room, which is down the hall from a few suites, you see another set of people come up the landing. One is clearly a resident of the City, the other a foreigner, Scottish based on his dress. They enter one of the suites, not even glancing back towards you.
The room is as fine as the rest of the Inn though a bit cramped for the three of you. Moses sighs, "A fine Inn and I will be sleeping on its fine floors". He lays down your pack Lorenzo and pulls a blanket out of his own pack. "I could use some sleep before heading out again tonight".
As he hits the floor his head jerks up, he sniffs at the floor warily, "Blood, someone has recently bled considerably in this room." He pulls the carpet up and you see underneath faint traces of dried pools of blood...

So you are not Sadir in a different guise and I am not in Paris. I am back in Venice. I thought I would never come back here again. I may not have much time, tell me Alessandro, who are you and who are you aligned with? Did I indicate to you why I would want a tour of the sewers and underground byways"
I am not Sadir. You were with Katriana, traveling with Victor and Kurt, when I met you. Katriana has a brother Sergei, a little maniacal and unhinged.
You asked me to tour the canals and introduce you to the keepers of the canals, not the sewers per se. Of course they do overlap in several places.
Alessandro pauses, making sure he has his facts right.
Kindred factions gather in several... thirteen inns throughout Venice. Called together by Kestral, who is Senechal. I can only imagine at the behest of this... Narses.

Beshter closes his eyes for a moment. "To remember any of it I will have to delve and I do not feel strong enough to do it at the moment, I might lose myself again. My name is Sebastian of Gallia Narbonensis. In life I was a man of God. In the next I have been trying to return to God and have gone through hell in the attempt. I thought I was doing the right thing, releasing these beings of their pain and suffering but I was wrong. I do not know how to control them and many would like to see me dead for what I have done. Many are amongst the thirteen, including the Kestral. I am not sure why Beshter thought coming here a wise idea but I am in great danger just by being here and so is he. I do not care why Narses called anyone together, all I know is I need to get away, I swear I am not an enemy of your people. Can you help me get away?"
