Sorry, for some reason I seem to struggle to access the Paizo site from home whenever I try, not sure if I'm just unlucky with server downtime/busy timeouts or if there's something wrong (sometimes I get the goblin, sometimes I just get site not found errors).

If it happens again I may have to give my PC a serious talking to (and nuke all the cache, temp files and experiment with different browsers)

Should have now sent sheets to all who requested, Going to put up an opening post shortly.

Okay, first post of the adventure up.
I don't think anyone else is a Harper, but the spoiler on the game thread includes Clyde's faction quest.

APL Encounter Difficulty (not secret, feel free to read):

Your "Average Party Level" is 2.2, which puts you at the 'weak' level as adventure is aimed at 3. Apart from one encounter, which I have my concerns about, I think you can handle the Average level of encounters, so if there's no objections I'll run the encounter I have concerns about as a 'Weak' party and the rest as "Average". If you're looking like you're barely scraping through I'll scale it back down again.

A bit of bad news. I've developed tendinitis in both my hands, making it difficult to type (either on a keyboard or my phone).

As such, I won't be posting as often, and I'll be taking more of a back role for this adventure until my hands heal. Doc says it should be about 3-4 weeks.

I'm still going to play and keep up, it's just that my posting will be more minimal.

As a quick note, this adventure needs some editing as it seems to reference older edition rules.

For example, you should be given Resistance 5 from this altar, which isn't something that exists in D&D 5e design. This is doubly annoying as other effects give Resistance 3, so I need some way to distinguish them.

Also resistance to the appropriate element is very vague...

What is 5 resistance? That feels like a 3rd edition thing.

In 5e, resistance is simply half damage vs a damage type.

Did it mean 5 damage reduction?

Just the character placing the offering, of course there's nothing stopping you duplicating the offering.

Gah, didn't mean to write the 5 in the main thread, you have Resistance to the effects noticed, and advantage on the saves. I put my typo down to a combination of frustation at the the adventure using rules that don't exist and that I'm just getting over illness from the tail end of last week.

Yeah, I'm just going to fast-forward through a chunk now, sorry if this has been boring, if I do more AL in future, I'll be sure to vet the adventure I'm running a bit more, and try and keep things flowing better.

It just seems hard to keep things moving in this one without eliminating a most of the player agency, plus real-life issues have been dragging out all my energy.

"Bless" has a duration of concentration. Can I take other actions and keep it in place?

You can take other actions, but you can only have one 'concentration' spell in play at once, if you cast another the old one drops. If you take damage while concentrating you need to make a CON Save at DC 10 or 1/2 damage taken (whichever is higher) to keep concentrating).

If everyone's had enough I can just wrap it up now. Raina's next hit will finish it off,it will get another round of attacks in against Cass, but it's not going to wipe him out as worse case scenario it'll leave him dying.

410 gold appears to be it to be divided. You missed out on 20gp that you could have looted from altars, but would have been hit by more traps.

Yeah, I'm going to leave it a bit before I try again and vet the module a bit better in future, as this one had both rules-errors, poor explanation of what was intended and poor structure in general in my opinion.

Maybe stay away from the brand new stuff and check the reviews on drivethru first too (I don't think there were any reviews yet when I picked it up)

I also felt bad for Cass who seemed singularly unable to hit anything - don't let it put you off!

I'll get sheets sorted tonight.
