Err... Spoiler warning???

Ehm... Is there a major character on Golarion that has a name different from pregen character's name Amiri by one letter? Or is it a typo?

Wert?

Renamed the thread and added spoiler tag to prevent spoilers! I left the typos though? Fixing someone else's typos feels icky /gen... Typos aren't against the forum guidelines.

I'm also confused. I might have an inkling of what the OP is referring to if it is Amiri they're talking about, but I'm still very uncertain because... well,

Spoilers for Godsrain:
Amiri does die in the climax of the Godsrain novel due to injuries caused by Rovagug's corruption after she stops Verex-That-Was's attempt to free Rovagug, but Kyra, Merisiel, and Ezren manage to save her soul from Rovagug and then Sarenrae resurrects Amiri in thanks for everything the heroes did. Did the OP post this before finishing the last few chapters?

The only other possibility I can think of is that there might be art in Hellbreakers that shows her badly injured or temporarily slain, but the iconics' apperances in APs aren't definitively canon (They don't constantly jump up and down in level over the years, and they didn't briefly become evil dor Blood Lords, after all)

This is what I assumed OP was referring to as well, to be honest.

Spoiler Thoughts:
Now that things are thankfully spoilered, I think a good candidate for Amiri's replacement, if she was to be replaced, is Oska from the web fiction Returning Home, a girl from Amiri's village who hated Amiri for her murder's effect on the women of the tribe, but whom Amiri helped foster into independence alongside her brother.

Yup, I'm thinking it's this too. I can also say that I don't believe the passing of an iconic like this would be met with such little fanfare.

Liberty's Edge

Death is just a revolving door.

OP really did the equivalent of setting down two towers mid-read to write "Whose replacing aragorn now that he fell off a cliff and died?"

It's OK; he gets better.

Actually, didn't Fumbus kill an iconic?
