The Eel freezes, his eyes widening with fear as he hangs on the side of the ship over all that dreadful water!
It's even worse for him. He's an Alchemist who now can't drink potions or interact with liquids!
All three in the water can see a small, liquid figure clinging to the side of the ship.
Ok, the Eel is screwed and spends the round frozen. Everyone can act. Rhialla you can see him, but he does have cover from you.

Cass is comically being carried by Percy, and she has to dive off of his back so that she can perform the somatic components for her spells. After a cool dip in the oceanic water, she surfaces enough to be able to speak. Figuring that the Eel probably gets his name from being slippery, she decides that instead of using a web spell she'll try to slow him first.

Isn't a Pike a piercing weapon? The description of the Boarding Pike says it has a spear-point on it. Spears are piercing weapons.
