Am creating elementalist fire wizard. Noticed no damage-dealing fire spell at level 0. Ideas?

Casting Time: 1 Standard Action
Duration: Instantaneous
Effect: A slight burn. 1d3 damage.
Attack: 25ft.
A series of sparks shoots out from your hand, burning the target. Takes 1d3 damage, must suceed on Reflex Save or take 1 additional point of damage.
Well, if your DM is weird, you could always pick up Experimental Wordcasting, or whatever that feat from Ultimate Magic is called. Then have a short ranged, ranged touch, no save, 1d4 fire damage spell at your disposal. Plus side is that every time you take that feat again, you gain two more words to add. That's how my Pyro rolls.
But, if you didn't wanna waste a feat, and your DM is cool with new spells, I'd still at least make the spell short ranged, compared to a set 25 ft. And is it ranged touch, plus a reflex to avoid extra damage?
