Can someone summarise Kemnebi's background and plot?

Blood Lords

I'm not running Blood Lords, but I am running another older 1e AP, Mummy's Mask, and one of my players has a connection to Kemnebi as a kind of mentor. I thought it would be neat to have Kemnebi distantly and tangentially involved in the overarching story to focus the player on events. My current idea is that Kemnebi, alerted to the existence of the Cult of the Forgotten Pharaoh, is interesting in supporting regime change in Osirion - an undead Mummy Lord Pharaoh might be more amenable to Geb as a nation, and a powerful ally in his later plots.

The thing is, without investing money in an adventure I have no short-term plans to run, I don't actually know what those plots are, which somewhat limits my ability to tie them into it. Is someone able to summarise Kemnebi's background and what exactly his plan in this adventure actually is, so I know how much to use in my game? Or point me to somewhere else I can find it?

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR BLOOD LORDS AHEAD, OBVIOUSLY.

Blood Lords AP:
A super abbreviated version of his backstory:
-At some point, he was a living man who became a vetalarana vampire.
-A turning point in his unlife was absorbing the memories of a powerful monk named Balji, granting Kembebi a form of enlightenment. This made him into a far more cunning and calculating individual, but his mind and way of thinking was also altered in the process.
-Because of the aforementioned event, Kemnibi was able to climb the social ladder in Geb over many years, eventually becoming the second most powerful individual in that nation while building up a spiderweb of connections and networks of power.

His plan, abbreviated:
-Kemnebi plans to create a blend of deadly poison which would be scentless and tasteless, and also includes a reagent making the fresh corpses especially vulnerable to necromancy and control under Kemnebi.
-By using his connection network, Kemnebi plans to introduce this poison into the food export industry of Geb, potentially killing hundreds of thousands in neighbouring nations. This would not only give Kemnebi access to an instant army of obedient undead, but also massively destabilize Geb as countries would interpret this as an act of war. Kemnebi plans to be the one on top when the dust settles, using his foreknowledge of this catastrophe as well as his newfound army.

I also have my own additions to Kemnebi's backstory and ambition for my home game, which generally revolve around grand conspiracies and the knights of Ozem.

Thank you very much for clarifying things! I was honestly worried it was more convoluted than that, and didn't want to step on toes.

My current plan is:

Mummy's Mask, Anne, Lincoln, Candor, Loather and Dalm please don't look:
Kemnebi was born after Hakotep the Sky Pharaoh was erased from history, but remembered enough legends from his life as a mortal, and found ancient records in Geb that dated back to his reign - Geb is an ancient place, and has access to records that couldn't be erased by later Pharaohs. He wants power, and before he settles on provoking war with Nex he initially tries regime change to get it. Both Serethet and Nebta-Khufre learned enough rumours while they were studying at the Ebon Mausoleum alongside my player to individually take up their quests - Nebta going for the Mask using his Tephu noble background, Serethet going for the Heart by using her Nethysian clergy membership, and the player pointed to Osirion as a place to travel on their Grand Tour (as a backup). All three were proteges of Kemnebi, but none of them knew about each other and only the first two were trusted enough to be drip-fed hints. They've defeated Nebta already, the player's character was very surprised to meet an old school colleague, and currently they have no idea that Serethet is involved.

Kemnebi, as the patron of the player who got them into the Ebon Mausoleum, has loyally been alerted to the existence of the Cult of the Forgotten Pharaoh and the Mask by them since a Gebbite ending an undead plague might improve Geb's perception in the region. He has little interest in the Mask itself yet, though having something that could grant him power to rival Geb himself might be nice when he eventually Makes His Move, but he is intrigued by the Cult because if they succeed and install an undead Pharaoh on the throne he might be more amenable to normalising relations with Geb, and maybe teaming up to crush Nex - the lands that would become Geb and Nex were still Ancient Osiriani colonies in Hakotep's day, which he would want back, and Kemnebi would settle for being a regional governor under a Pharaoh if it means toppling Arazi and the Ghost King to rule Geb himself. Publicly, and to my player, he has professed no interest in interfering in the affairs of another nation. Privately, he's hoping to use regime change as a stepping stone to more power.

My player's character has no idea about Kemnebi's ambitions, and in fact Kemnebi has no real affection for them - he has been cultivating them solely because he enjoys a well-aged meal. But when they reported their doings to him, and provided him with a rough description of the Tephu group's leader, he started reaching out to the Cult through Scrying and Sending and is mulling ordering the player to hand the Mask over to solidify his distant alliance. Through his contacts, he can provide the Cult of the Forgotten Pharaoh with some Gebbite tricks to throw in the party's path, using his connection to the party to get information to send the Cult's way. Ideally, the full reveal wouldn't really begin until they find and put down Serethet, when the coincidence that three former students would all get tangled up in the same conspiracy might start to rankle. I don't currently plan to have Kemnebi leave Geb, but depending on how pissed the party is at him Book 5 might need some tinkering to add in a brief trip to Geb to expose him if that's the route they want to go, and then including him in Book 6. Alternatively, he might remain a "this is what my character sets out to do post-campaign" thing.
