Any idea where Mark of the Mantis is? It’s supposed to be a February release, but isn’t on either list and has no store page.
Mentioned now in this thread.

It would be nice to have a thread be created in the announcement forum when products are delayed thusly. I found out merely by accident on another thread.
Thanks for the feedback. I see this thread now is in the Announcements section. The staff is learning this information the same time you are. In fact, no official internal announcement has yet been made. As I understand it, this will mean an April release for Book of the Dead, at the earliest. It is quite a sharp turn for the marketing machine too, so I understand the frustration. Please give us time to update the product info in all the right places. :)

I think the request was more for a thread detailing product delays on their own, rather than having one for the New Releases. So a thread informing people that specifically Book of the Dead has been delayed

Thanks for the feedback. It is a delicate communication. Book of the Dead is one of the biggest released of the year. We want to inform while still celebrating all the other the March releases.

*sigh* not surprised but thiers hot to be a way to stop these delays
No, there is no way to "stop these delays". Unless, of course, you have a magic wand to clear all the backed up containers at all the ports all around the world.
There are companies hundreds of times the size of Paizo who are experiencing the same delays. If you've got the solution, I'm sure they'd pay you big bucks to put it into action.

And we're only starting to realize how much we got used to a well-oiled machine of optimized worldwide logistics that has gone the way of the dodo thanks to the pandemics. It was part of the old world and things will not go back to the way they were. Now we are all inventing our new world one surprise at a time.

No need to be nasty to someone expressing frustration.

It is everyone's job to make the forums a friendly and fun place where the community and Paizo staff can interact. Thank you to those who help other forum members. Kindly, keep the thread on topic, please.

Removed personally harassing posts and replies. We do not like to delay products, but it has been the reality of the pandemic and the shipping industry that is still in chaos. We are trying to improve our information flow, both internal and external. Thank you to those individuals who've made suggestions as to how we can do so! We will continue to work through the chaos together!

It's perfectly acceptable to be frustrated with shipping issues, it's also perfectly acceptable to expect people to understand that there are global shipping issues beyond the control of any individual company, and that customer service team members having to step in and explain that when they could be doing other things is silly.

Saying "there's got to be a way to stop these delays" may not seem rude, but it's putting the onus of a global shipping crisis and the solution for that on a single company. Paizo is not the only company impacted by supply chain and port issues right now and it's well beyond their means to solve a global crisis. There's a lot to be said for having patience and grace in a time like this, and thinking about how tone of statements may be taken by people who keep seeing the same messages over and over again.

...
I imagine that it's quite a switch from normal times when promotional events can be planned many months ahead of a product release and there is typically advanced warning when delays do happen. These unforeseen, last-minute trips into release date Limbo must be causing hair-pulling levels of frustration for the marketing team. Hang in there.

This whole dialogue has been entertaining.
1- Venting frustration is human
2- responding to someone venting is human
3- reacting negatively to a perceived threat or insult is human
Wheaton's law dictates, for me, that if I have nothing nice to say, say nothing. Unless it is in the defense of someone else in which case break Wheaton's law as needed.
Guy didn't do anything wrong, no one needed to come to Paizo's defense when Paizo has repeatedly stated these forums can and will be used to vent frustrations at processes, but not employees or other members of the community.
Belgrath (love the name by the way) did neither of those things, but the cascade effect of someone unprovoked attacking a community member has yet again led us down this path of division. In an announcement thread. Where all people had to do was ignore the post.
I do thank all of you for the reading material. But seriously, when it comes to identifying bullies, one persons hero is another persons villain. When Terevalis speaks of bullies they aren't talking in a vacuum. They have been the target of mob commentary repeatedly. Not all of it I disagreed with, but division is division so have fun with that. We are at the place we are on the forums because so many people took personal offense at people voicing their complaints instead of accepting that people may have valid gripes for valid reasons.
A simple "I know, that sucks. All on the same boat" would have elicited a completely different direction of conversation. But here we are.
Sure do miss Sara Marie on days like this.
Editted to Add: I intentionally did not say who attacked who, because like I said. I have nothing to add to that portion. Just that people obviously felt attacked. Likely on both sides of the discussion at this point. But again, all it took was someone saying 'Yeah, that sucks' and letting it go at that and none of the follow up division would have happened.

Taking things in a different direction since we are not getting tracking numbers anymore could we get updated and more accurate language in the shipping notice? As I understand the process when the shipment notice is sent out the order has officially been boxed at the warehouse and it is about to start it's journey. Yet the shipping notice includes this language.
"A package containing 4 items from Paizo Order ###### is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Friday, February 18 via USPS Priority Mail, estimated 2 to 5 business days in transit."
Without the tracking number that wording leads me to believe I shouldn't worry about my package 2 to 5 days after that Feb 18th date. In reality my box arrived yesterday and I would just like clarity on when to worry which should probably be more like 2 to 5 business days from when the email is generated.

Didn't get tracking? I got tracking for my AP shipment. It was the one that doesn't work, but it was in the email. I agree though, knowing exactly when something leaves the warehouse would be super useful. Especially if you aren't going to be home and need to make arrangements. For reference I use 'cheapest method' so it is always a gamble for what service they use.
As for tracking itself, I get around it - in the states - by having a USPS account that sends me a text every time something enters their system going to my home address. Since most of Paizo's shipments end up in USPS's hands then I get notice that way. No way to know what they are from the texts, but when putting the number in their system it lets me know it originated from Redmond Washington typically.
This is what I am getting in my email, same verbiage as always.
A package containing 1 item from Paizo Order ######### is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Friday, February 18 via Standard Postal Delivery, estimated 4 to 8 business days in transit.Shipping Address:
LoL No.blah blah blah - redacted - blah blah blah
