Who are you, Paizo?

Off-Topic Discussions

Just wondering which staff members are regular posters here at the forums. Also wondering if any of you write a blog, or something of the like.

Constantly. You don’t have to look far to find them; just look for the tags behind the names (although I see Phil is missing his Sales Manager tag now). Many of the employees keep profiles as well, and if they are comfortable giving out personal information (homepages and the like) you’ll find it there.

Erik Mona, James Jacobs, Mike McArtor and Cosmo are some of the more frequent staff posters, but it's certainly not limited to just them. Many other staff members post as well, including Lisa Stevens, the Benevolent Goddess of All Things Paizo. They post under their own names, so they're pretty easy to find.

And sometimes, we post late LATE at night, as in just after we played Mass Effect too long and should have gone to sleep hours ago but dang that game's fun...

Hi everyone.

My name is Mike, and I'm a Paizo staffer.

Sound choice, but when I bludgeon the nice folks at Paizo I prefer a good cudgel myself.

Ah Mass Effect...

Helping me pass the time without fretting about the RPG Superstart Results on Wednesday.

Anyone else:

A) Have this game yet

B) Play through the game with the renegade options like your Han Solo or Mal from Firefly?

But beware of cunning fake posts by message board regulars with aliases designed to look like Paizo staff. You can spot these imposters by the lack of title after their name.

What about a quarterstaff (or, to be sneaky, a buck n' a quarter quarterstaff)?

Ho, Ha Ha, Guard, Turn, Dodge, Parry, Thrust, Spin......

Porky and Daffy - one of the legendary, but oftentimes overlooked, comedy duos.

Ahh... one of my personal favorites!

Spoiler:
...and it's actually Ho, Ha Ha, Guard, Turn, Dodge, Parry, Spin, Thrust. But who's counting? ;)

A world where I can’t place my trust in a lawyer is a world I don’t even want to know.

Jason has reach, so I have to get as long a stick as I can to avoid AOOs.

(No, none of that made sense with 3.5 rules. Deal.)

Really? Mine only cost 75 cents.

I've attempted to wean myself off the boards a bit (trust me, it's better for everyone this way), but I'm still around. I don't have a blog to speak of, other than the Paizo blog (which I wrangle posts for), but I've got a band site at www.myspace.com/shadowatmorning that I'm working on pretty much all the hours that I'm not in the Paizo office....

That's Mike's weapon, as he mentioned above. I was saying I prefer a cudgel to a staff for my cranial tenderizations. They're just so much smashier.

From what I have seen Mass Effect is an awesome game, I can wait for my copy to get in some time this week. I just picked up a 360, little late in the game a know. :(

Ummm... I'm Erik Mona! Really! I'm not fibbing!

Um... I am sorry to hear that. I hope that he is doing well. Tell him that we miss him here at the forums.

HI MIKE!!!

Yeesh. Originally when I was going to do that joke, I had created an alias that read 'I'm Erik Mona! Honest'. But I decided that I didn't want to incur the true Erik Mona's wrath, so I chickened out. Now I've got a wasted alias. Dangit.

Spoiler:
What a disappointment;)
