Animals companions have a fix in.
Any animal companion can be a megafauna animal companion
Which really helps higher level Strength based animal companions. As they can get expert barding proficiency with Indomitable.
It doesn't solve all their AC problems, but it is a good step. It is really great for mounts for which barding is right on theme. Giant bears seem to have a thing for barding as well.

Lizardfolk changes.
Iruxi Unarmed Expertise is out which is a bit odd. I guess these days it only had value for Fighters. Its not technically obsolete. But still I doubt I'd ever take it.
The replacement is very very good.
Primal Rampage Feat 13
You tap into the unstoppable, primeval strength of your ancient kin. You gain freedom of movement and stoneskin as 4th-level primal innate spells that you can cast once per day. As a 3-action activity, you can Cast a Spell twice to cast both of these innate spells, as long as they are both still available for the day.
Two very good defensive buffs as an inate spell, so you don't normally worry about the casting DC. This is very nice.
Along with Frilled Lizard Folk, it definitely makes me want to play this ancestry now.

Bladed scarf change is really nice, it felt a bit silly that this was unusable to Swashbucklers before.
It's also now the highest damage dice on a martial finesse/reach weapon compared to the d4 whips.
Yes its is still two handed which leaves the whips with their place. But all the DEX base builds should look at it closely.
May even be the optimal rogue weapon for a rogue who wants to mix it up in melee with Opportune Backstab, Preparation, Leave an Opening, and some Attack of Opportunity martial allies. The flail weapon group to prone on a critical, the trip option, that extra die size over the other whips...

Is primal rampage the only way to cast two two action spells in one turn other then quickened casting?
There's also the tiefling's anime-tastic Final Form which, while not expressly naming multiple spells, does cast a spell in addition to another rider, so feels close.
