Hey all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I pitched this campaign to my group a long time back as a "buddy cop" campaign. Most of us are a fan of detective/crime TV so we've all been stoked to play it for as long as we've known about it (real world issues have dampened that a bit, but we've all been friends long enough that we're equipped to handle it).
Anyway, in order to emphasize the buddy-copness aspects of the campaign, I decided to group my players into partnerships and create some custom rules to further emphasize the partner relationship, namely partner feats (basically teamwork feats) and a downtime system that focuses on partner activities. I put a bit of work into it, so I thought I'd share it with other GMs who might be running the campaign.
The rules can be found here:

A couple of important notes:
- Use of these rules will most likely result in a more powerful PC group than average. My players requested a high-power player campaign this time around, so I designed a system loosely based on the free archetype variant rules that'll net the players quite a few extra feats. If you want your group to be more in line with a regular-powered group, I recommend dropping the free archetype feats and scaling back the rate at which your PCs can pick up the partner feats.
- If you follow these rules exactly, your group might also end up with more treasure than the campaign intends. This isn't an issue for my group, as I've got six players and I designed these rules to help add in two additional players worth of treasure, without just dropping more loot into the campaign. Adjust loot values for your group as necessary.
- I like to give credit where credit is due, so it's worth noting that quite a few of the partner feats were influenced or outright stolen from 1e's teamwork feats.
-If anyone is interested in implementing all or parts of this system into your own game and has questions, I'll be happy to field them. I'd also be appreciative if anyone has any constructive feedback.
- Finally, I reviewed the forum rules before posting, but like I said this is my first post. If I violated some kind of ToS, please let me know and I'll take down my post.
Cheers.

Thanks for that. I didn't realize mine was broken. Much appreciation.
On the Paizo boards, you cannot directly paste links in your text. Paizo inserts a random space to keep them from working. It's an anti-spam measure.
Instead, you need to enclose them in BBcode tags, using square brackets.
Scroll down below the text box and click the "show" button next to the "How To Format Your Text" label.
That gives examples of all the BBcodes that are allowed in forum posts.
(my favorite is the "dice" code, which allows you to roll dice right in your post).
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
BTW those are some well thought out rules!
