I am looking for a good module from Paizo to convert to second edition once the game comes out, it also has to be a module that can be done in one or two sessions. I am looking for something that has interesting encounters in both exploration and combat. I would also like to avoid the We Be Goblin modules since at least one of the players is pretty familiar with them. I am not too familiar with the Modules line from paizo so list your favorite 1 sesion modules they have.

Crypt of Everflame it's very simple. I have everything converted for 2ed of this module, sadly for you it's in Brazilian portuguese...

I mean, the Fall of Plaguestone is a module that's intended as an introduction to P2 and should be available on launch day. There should also be several Pathfinder Society scenarios for first level characters and those are intended to be four to five hours.

But, if you specifically want to convert from P1, I'd lean towards The Wounded Wisp. I've always liked it as an intro and it doesn't overstay it's welcome.

How long do the modules usually take to play through? I played Crypt of the aeverflame and it took 3 sessions... is that typically?

See if you can find the pathfinder society playtest scenarios. Rose Street Revenge uses playtest rules and is for level 1. Should be an easy conversion. My group completed it in 4ish hours.

Yeah, old modules (32 pages, like Crypt of the Everflame) took two to three sessions, newer ones (96 pages, like Dragon's Demand) span multiple levels and take even longer.

Society Scenarios would be your best bet for One-session adventures.

What about the free modules? I ran 'We be goblins' in one session, and I expect the others are a similar length

Master of the Fallen Fortress is an option.

D0, Hollow's Last Hope has several advantages; It's short, has a variety of encounter types and locations, and can be used as a prequel to the Kobold King series. Oh, and it's free.

That is one of the frontrunners for this thing but I am also considering some of the others you guys have mentioned

I see Dante Doom beat me to Crypt of the Everflame. That one is a classic. Simple. Great intro to the game.

My favorite introductory module is Godsmouth Heresy. It's a traditional dungeon crawl with a bunch of flavor and lore behind it to explore (gotta love Kaer Maga). Lots of opportunities to expand into home games if you want. Plus the majority of encounters are already in the playtest bestiary, and there are close approximations for most of the rest.

The Pathfinder Beginner Box is another easy conversion, and very noob-friendly in either system.

If you are including Beginner Box items, which were written for the simplified version of P1, there are several short adventures available as part of their Beginner Box Bash Demos

Beginner Box Bash Demos - Part 2

I'd expect you could complete one or more of these in a session, and I suspect they wouldn't be too hard to convert to Second Edition. Price is pretty good too. ;) [free]

Do the opening of Curse of the Crimson Throne (its not super related to the main AP anyways). The hunt for Gaedren Lamm brings the group together nicely and can be done in a session.
