Im glad we are getting all this new content before PF2 comes on board..... But i am not seeing very much stuff for the Ninja. Even the new Martial Arts Handbook had nothing.......

When can we get some archetypes here?

Ninja is an archetype of the rogue class. So, an archetype for an archetype? Nope, won't happen. You could always house rule allowing using another rogue archetype + ninja.

According to the www.d20pfsrd.com Ninja archetypes page, we have 4 Ninja archetypes from Paizo, and Archives of Nethys agrees.

According to the www.d20pfsrd.com Samurai archetypes page, we have 7 Samurai archetypes from Paizo, and Archives of Nethys agrees.

Antipaladin has even more.

So it is possible to have archetypes of Alternate Classes, although most of them were a LONG time coming.

I think its because the ninja qualifies/fits for a lot of regular rogue archetypes. So they may not see it as a priority compared to the other classes.

Antipaladin has similar but opposite language so no paladin archetype fits.

Samurai has some similarities, So a few archetypes fit.

Ninja is effectively a core rogue+ with stealth abilities instead of trapfinding, as such a large portion of archetypes work (Or at least they should).

Actually, most rogue archetypes trade out or alter trapfinding: This disqualifies about 75% of them all by itself, and a handful of the remaining archetypes are disqualified for trading out evasion.

I have to wonder if enthusiasm for the ninja is low because the Unchained Rogue is ultimately a more successful (and popular) fix to the CRB rogue than the Ninja was.

I feel like the recent Samurai archetypes are motivated by how there wasn't really a decent "unmounted samurai" archetype and there were some ways to do one that fit better for a Samurai than a Cavalier. I'm not sure what one might want to do with the ninja that one is not currently able to do, particularly since we can enhance the ninja class by printing more ninja tricks- something that the Martial Arts Handbook did do.

Could be worse. Could be Vampire Hunter.
