At level 1 is this ability usable once a day per character you wish to use it on, or once per day total?

It seems to be once per day total.

.
i'm unsure how to interpret this ability's rule:

Once per day, you can spend 10 minutes to magically heal an ally up to 5 Hit Points per mystic level.

is it:

a) healing 1 hp per mystic level, and max at mystic level 5 for 5hp? (so mystic 1 heals 1 hp, mystic 2 for 2 hp, etc, maxing at mystic 5 for 5hp?)

or

b) healing 5hp per mystic level with no max mystic level? (so mystic 1 heals 5hp, mystic 2 heals 10hp, etc, to max mystic level 20 for 100hp?)

"up to 5 hit points per mystic level" -- which "up to" sounds like another variable besides the level? the wording of it all confuses me.

b

Maybe a bit more clarification :)

The 'up to' is to prevent problems with overhealing. I'm not actually sure that the language is necessary.

But yeah. Your level x 5 in healing - you can apply as much of it as you can to one ally.

thx!

It also gives the mystic the option to heal less if they wish.

For example, if you want to bring a foe to consciousness, but not give them the benefit of your full healing amount.

Heh. So an unconscious foe also counts as an ally. :)

Exactly. After all, that spleen did nothing wrong.
