Can familiars make a Strike action?

Playing the Game

I know they have 0' reach for being Tiny, but can they even make a Strike and what are the stats if they can?

Hard to say, rather disappointed with familiars in the playtest myself, considering how much i liked them in PF1. Hopefully final product is more fleshed out.

Same. I was excited to be able to have a winged homunculus as an alchemist, but then I realized it can't actually do much, and required my action to do anything.

I think cats can't kill cats anymore, let alone commoners. No combat stats and therefore no strikes for familiars.

"Tiny creatures can occupy a space occupied by a larger creature as well, and, if their reach is 0 feet, they must do so in order to attack.", page 313.

"Tiny creatures are an exception. They can move through any creatures’ spaces and can even end their movement there. See page 313 for more on Tiny creatures.", page 312.

It's unclear if they still require an athletics check to tumble into the square, but they probably do. A lack of stats on the attack is the bigger problem. I'm not sure if these are just missing from the playtest bestiary, or if there are really no stats for them.

Silver Crusade

Its a playtest of the Core Rules.

And, lets face it, in Core PF1 cats could only barely kill cats anyway with their one NL point of damage a hit :-)
