use barkskin\ironskin spells also grab 'scale and skin' feat and see your ac go off the roof (that feat work wonderful with long duration spells such as ant haul (2 hours/level)

Not quite what I was looking for, but definitely interesting suggestions. I was hoping for something cheaper than a +3 that would still let him actually USE his armor in wildshape. Is there anything like Called for armor? I didn't see it in the list, but that doesn't always mean anything.
WagnerSika gave you this.
Get a barding fitted for the shape he most often uses.
To that I'll add gain access to the Swift Girding Spell, which will suit you up. It takes a Standard Action to cast. This is my preferred way.
Another way you could go is to no Polymorph into Animals at all. Be a Goliath Druid and turn into Giants. You get to keep your Armor and use your weapons.

There is exactly what you want: Expensive (Wild)
There is something like you want: Inconvenient (Barding)
There is an alternate to what you want: Unobtainable (Swift Girding)
You’ve got only two choices. Fork out the money or change tactics to make the inconvenient option viable. I’d opt to picking a favorite form, get Barding for it, and STAY in that form as much as possible.

Get a barding fitted for the shape he most often uses. Cast mage armor on him, a wand costs only 750.Get Bracers of Armor. If he has high wisdom take a level of monk for wis to ac.
Any item that gives a Shield or Armor bonus will not function while Wild Shaped unless it has the Wild property.
Items that provide constant bonuses and do not need to be activated continue to function while melded in this way (with the exception of armor and shield bonuses, which cease to function).
So Bracers of Armor are out unless you wanna fork over 16,000 gold for +1 Wild Bracers.

Yes, Scott, but wouldn't barding just... fall off when he shifted back to his natural form? I thought sublimation of gear only occurred from natural to other form and barding is REALLY hard to put on and... we don't have any arcane spell casters or anyone with a decent UMD. =/
Barding will totally fall off when he shifts back to his natural form. Depending on the form you choose, you might be able to dress yourself, but I'm thinking in terms of somehow acquiring the Swift Girding Spell. That would mean you or someone in your party dipping a level in Magus, Paladin, Sorcerer, Wizard, or Arcanist.
I'd consider it problematic that your party has no arcane spell caster. Dipping a level would be doing a favor to your party. Even if it's only 1 level, you can at least use Magic Wands.

What do you mean barding is really hard to put on? Wildshape lasts hours. Change and have your party use a few minutes to dress you up, it takes no more time than the fighter takes donning his full plate.
@Darksol you are right, we let the Bracers work in wild shape but that is a house rule. But you could slap the bracers on afterwards if the shape has wrist slots. But barding is probably cheaper. Unless you multiclassed monk for wis to AC.

Keep a folding bathtub and water skins with 5 gallons of water in an extra-dimensional space. Set up your bathtub, fill it with water, hop in and then wildshape. Once wild shaped use a first level spell slot to cast Ice Armor.
You now have a breastplate that you can use while wild shaped with a duration that lasts exactly as long as your wild shape.

(Bonus points if your folding bath tub is big enough to fit a T-Rex)

get mage armor from wand and umd it
or be a nagaji (or racial heritage if human) and pick the naga aspirent archtype
-which bascikly only gain stuff, as it replaces the spontanius summon casting with a list of nice arcne spells to add including mage armor, while still having summon spells in spell list so no biggy loosing the spontanius part. as well as gainig the abity to shapeshift to naga form, but never loosing the normal shapeshifting of druids so win-win.
other idea,as most shapes have neck slot you can grab Guardian Gorget for +2 ac, light fortification and a gliph kinda spell to drop on anyone who hit you.
last one. going evengelist of nethys will give full evangelist abilities and only effective -1 level to druid ones with the class copy-paste ability at levels 2-10. as well as sla among them a 3/day mage armor cast with ur hd as caster level so last long time.

Naga aspirant doesn't need mage armor. You only lose access to your gear when shape shifting into an animal, dragon, elemental, magical beast, plant, or vermin type. Naga's are of the aberration type, and thus all your gear changes to fit your form and remains usable.

My compliments on a clever idea, Saleem.
Keep a Portable Hole filled with water, set it down, Wildshape, jump in, then Ice Armor!
Or, cast Expeditious Excavation (lv 1 Druid Spell), fill the hole with Create Water (Druid Cantrip) or a Decanter of Endless Water, then jump in and Ice Armor.

yeae. but i wanted to offer something that will work even if the op want to take a difrent form. while the archtype let you take a naga's form. it still have the normal wildshape ability. the mage armor is for that.
