According to the Pact Worlds advertisement at the back of Dead Suns 4, the following are the six new races coming next months in Pact Worlds:
"play as a member of one of six new alien races: shapechanging astrazoans, rolling bantrids, undead borais, plantlike khizars, robotic SROs, or winged strix."

I saw that! Looks like we're getting undead and robotic race options, which are sure to be popular. The others sound equally diverse.
I know some people are less than enthused about Starfinder's divorce of PC and NPC building rules, but if the benefit is this cornucopia of balanced playable race options, I think it's well worth it.

Here's my guesses as to what these things are and where they're from:
This literally means star animal so I'm guessing this is a ball of light fire that can shapeshift from the Sun.
Crash Bandicoot anyone? So this is likely a totally not Sonic the Hedgehog/Crash Bandicoot you guys like creature that can roll(a la Sonic possibly Crash?) and is a marsupial. I am guessing they are Akitonian like the Ysoki.
It feels like this is potentially a reference to Boris Karloff, so probably some sort of zombie(even though Frankenstein's Mosnter is likely not a zombie.) Obviously Eox.
I'm torn about this one, the sentient plants on Castrovel are called Sonoma Tree-Sages when previously referenced and these creates are definitely castrovellean, its possibly that this is just the racial name of the Sonoma Tree-Sages.
Likely another sentient robotic race from Aballon, best guess for what SRO stands for are: Sentient Robotic Organism. (hat tip to the SFS OP discord for this one.)
Strix are likely the same as they were in Pathfinder, best guess as to where they're from is Verces darkside (hat tip to the Starfinder discord for this one.)

*Excited cat sounds*
Also, will they be actual barbarians? You know, getting really angry helps even in space. I hope that such option will be available for soldiers at some moment, if not talking about actual separate class.

It was one of the seminars with the Starfinder Design Team, they were talking about designing creatures and exploring the Pact Worlds.
