I'm getting ready to start taking event submissions from the community, (information should be up on the PaizoCon page Soon™. However, since many people who are watching this section of the site are veteran PaizoCon event submitters, I'd like to run the form by y'all to see if anything sticks out as unclear or missing.
Each year I try to streamline the process for getting me information about what you want to run at the show. This year, I've moved to Google forms: PaizoCon 2018 Event Submission Form.
You can fill out an event form for each event you’d like to submit. If all of the details are the same and you want to run it multiple times, you only need to fill out the form once. (If you represent multiple GM's who will be running the same event you only need to fill out the event form once).
If you save the link when you have submitted your event, you should be able to go back and edit your submission until March 1st.
We have reduced the length of event descriptions to 150 characters. Once the schedule is posted online, you will be able to post in your event’s discussion thread with more details.
Paizo will not be running Organized Play events during the 1pm-6pm time slots. We will be offering the use of part of the Grand Ballroom for individuals who wish to run organized play scenarios during this time. If you wish to do this and be included in the PaizoCon schedule which lets attendees sign up for the game online and reserves you a table, you can submit an event using this form. Note that Saturday's time slot will be 1pm-5pm and all attendees must leave the room promptly at 5pm so hotel staff can set up for the PaizoCon Preview Banquet. Please format Starfinder and Pathfinder Org Play scenarios as #<season><scenario number>: Title (example: #9-01: The Cost of Enlightenment).
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks

Hey Sara Marie!
I have two comments about the form:
1. The language in the scheduling item is a little hazy on what to do if a GM wants to schedule a scenario in a specific block (i.e. 1-6 pm Sunday). (I know you need some latitude to spread out events, but I'm thinking specifically of PFS GMs that want to schedule something in the afternoon block.)
2. What's the reason for not scheduling events past 6 p.m.? I know I've done several events in the past couple of years that were in a 6-10 or 7-10 block.
And a "process" question: Will it be possible to submit additional events after the lottery has been run? There were a lot of people last year who said something to the effect of: "I didn't get a ticket to the event I wanted, so I would have loved to GM an open-signup event instead."

1. I changed the language to: Scheduling: The core hours events will be scheduled are 8am-6pm, Friday through Sunday and 9am-2pm on Monday. If you have a specific time you need to run your event, have conflicts with core hours or if you would prefer to run an event after 6pm Friday-Sunday, provide that information here: Does that help clarify it?
2. Because some people have business dinners, babysitting or transportation needs, scheduling after 6pm is something that I only feel comfortable doing if the person running it opts in.
Events could theoretically be available for submission after the lottery. But they would only be on the website as that is after our cut off for the program booklet. It would also depend on how much gaming space is available and how much time I or Katina has to enter PaizoCon events at that time.

I noticed a mistake in the Event Schedule regarding 2 games I am to run.
Both are scheduled for Sunday afternoon from 1-6 pm. The intention was for me to run one on Saturday afternoon and the other on Sunday afternoon. The order is not important.
Can this be sorted before lottery picks are completed?
Thanks,
Walter
