And just in case the question was about a build/guide to a Spell Sage Wizard, I haven't seen oneI've written about half of one, posting it in chunks for comment. Here it is. No idea when / if I'll finish it, because the next part -- spells -- is super time intensive. (In the post I write "in a day or two". That turned out to be wildly optimistic.)
Quote:but if you look at the description, you can see that Spell Study lets you (inefficiently) access divine spells to get your party out of a jam, as long as you have time to do the casting. [...] Normally, you would want to save this for removing some really nasty bad condition that a Wizard normally can't remove (Cure Light Wounds would normally be a bad example, unless you got caught without usable consumables for this and had to do it to stabilize somebody).Oh, Spell Study can do so much more than that. It gives you early access to a bunch of wizard spells, like Scry. It gives you access to an insane range of buffs and utility spells. It lets you be a better diviner than the specialist Diviner. It makes you into the ultimate McGyver, as long as you have a couple of spell slots left.
And, yes, it means in a pinch you can cure, remove curses, raise the dead, and do all those other traditional clerical back-office services. But that's honestly the least amazing thing about this archetype.
Definitely deserves a spot in the Guide to the Guides. By the way, I just remembered another Spell Sage Wizard guide. That one and yours complement each other (each covers stuff that the other doesn't).

The empyreal lords are covered in this guide to the Mystery Cultist by Reduxist. I don't disagree with him. Among the core deities Pharasma, Nethys, Urgathoa and Sarenrae stand out for the mechanics IMO but they all add flavour. In the case of evil deities usually flavour that reminds you that you worship a psycho, admittedly.

while the archetype ratings are one of the few things that are fully updated through the last PF1 publication, (1) summary tables or similar could be useful; as scrolling through 1000 or whatever archetype summaries still takes some doing (2) if you read a guide or similar, as above you may be interested in which archetypes weren’t covered by that guide so some way to highlight content that is more recent than relevant guides would be nice.

We accept your offer Lelomenia; put the appropriate edits in and I'll make sure Wonderstell accepts them and gives you credit. Much appreciated.

Thanks a lot Lelomenia!
Any more archetypes? :-)

i think i would be happy to contribute if it made sense. Was more just commenting that even completely up to date guides aren’t surgically precise instruments to respond to the moderately common question of ‘what notable content came out after this reference was finalized?’
Not clear to me if the ‘tables’ concept would be the best path, vs. just responding to questions individually, vs. a new “Guide to Content That Came Out After Your Guide”.

Just gonna say I find it kind of weird that people were saying that a point in the Razmiran Priest’s favor was it’s flavor. How many adventuring parties are going to accept a crazed cultist dedicated to one of Golarion’s most powerful villains into their party?
By doing what every intelligent, slightly clever and HIGHLY charismatic 'priest' should do; Deal in half-truths and misdirection.

In other words, be “that guy?”

Depends on what you mean by 'that guy'. There are plenty of ways to play an evil, half-crazed cultist that gets along just well with the party and doesn't cause them any unnecessary trouble. Help save the world, just make it profitable for your masters in the process.
