As of now i only know of 2 real methods, either just go the mastero bloodline sorcerer.

Or delve into 3.5 and prestige into sublime chord.

Are there any other options?

Play 5th ed?

home brew an archetype to give it 1d6 hit die and half bab and give it 9th lvl casting(which would mean it would lose all its early access spells) all in all seems like a downgrade

The evangelist cleric is a cleric archetype that gains some bardic performances, including inspire courage.

Any caster could go into the Argent Dramaturge,
Ashavic Dancer or Sphere Singer prestige classes. All of those give some kind of performances, the Dramaturge is the one most like a bard.

Step 1: Be an oracle.
Step 2: Take the curse Song-Bound
Step 3: Take the archetype Ocean's Echo
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit

There was a 3.5 prestige class for Bards that got them up to 9th level spells. It was pretty cool.

And OMG was it broke once folks like us got involved tweaking it. Holy smokes.
