I plan on running sessions as a GM and would love to have the Welcome to Starfinder Boon to give to new players.

I know our VOs got them at GenCon and will be bringing them to our next weekly game night (24 August). Check with your VOs and see if they already have copies to share. If not today, I'm sure they will soon.

Honestly, I was sort of hoping they'd be freely downloadable like the PFS one, for those of us who don't have easy access to VOs.

I'm a VC, and we have a SFS launch event in a couple of hours, the boons haven't come down the line yet.

Quick update. We have the boon done and available at Gen Con. The digital version is taking some extra time to generate. We hope to have this out soon for everyone to use!

Hey all, Tonya assured me that the Welcome to Starfinder boon will be part of the upcoming PBP Gameday packet. It does indeed exist. The moment that I get it, it will also appear in the PBP GM Kit that you can find when clicking my profile.

I am also going to try to get both boons to appear in the summary headers for both Flaxseed Lodge and Castamir's Flaxseed Station. (I'll see if we can get them listed in other lodges too!)

Now... I have to go get sleep. I GM again in the morning. It has been a very intense convention!

A couple of questions on this boon, as I haven't played PFS since about Season 1 and don't know how these boons work in PFS.

I played Into the Unknown and 1-01 this weekend. Will I be able to get the boon somehow?

I also accidentally deleted my 701 character as I couldn't make the character registration system work so my first/only SFS character is 702. Can that character get the boon?

To be honest I think we may see it sometime this week after the Paizo staff gets back from Gen Con and gets some much needed rest. I suspect they will get the website fixed and updated and we should be able to find the download then.

It would be great to see it this week as I have
a kickoff starfinder society event I'm running at a game store this Sunday.

Initial estimates say 20ish players over the course of the day (which is huge for the store.)

Does the welcome boon have to be the first boon on the character? Can we go back and give it to players that are starting before the boon gets put on the site?

The boon does not say it has to be placed on the -701 or that it has to be the first boon on the character.

I am pretty sure the boon is one per player however.

Alright. I think most can still work with that unless their character has trouble operating an airlock early on.
