The newest issue I'm having with your website is in the store when i try to complete my order it says I need a valid form of payment. I don't understand why not a single one of my bank card or credit card card is not a valid form of payment.

Maybe I should take a picture of Monopoly money and see if that's accepted. With the constant issues with trying to be a loyal customer that you are having with my orders since Gen Con my patience is about to run out. I can sure fine other companies that are willing to take my hard earn money. I guess Ill be trying to find time to call customer service on Tuesday to get yet another Issue fixed.

I am a little confused by some of the language here. Is the convention boons the boon for GMing at a convention or is it also available for players?

It's a small thing, but I have 9 regular GM tables of Starfinder. I have run the AP once, am running it again this weekend, and again over 2 sessions in Oct. That's 6 tables of credit I won't have for my Novas.

The bigger issue is the 24 players who we (myself and the store VA) cannot report 3xp each for. Sure they have/will have chronicles, but it's still not fair to them to have a combined 24 levels (72xp) unreported with the next AP dropping in just 22 days. This is just going to continue to quickly accumulate. Those same 24 players will probably want to play part 2, doubling the unreported content.

Paizo may have higher priorities, and I can respect that, but that doesn't explain how 1-04, 1-05 and 1-06 have already been added for reporting since the AP was sanctioned. Why can you add three unpublished scenarios, but not an already published and sanctioned AP? Can someone please acknowledge this and provide some kind of ETA on the fix that we can relate to players?

They are having database issues with the reporting of things there was a update that they are working on it in the website issues forum.

As far as I can tell, Starfinder Society signup sheets are still not available.

If I'm wrong, can somebody please point me to where I can download them (preferably with the event code for my event filled in)

I have just been using the ones in the back of the scenarios if I had time I would make the generic ones like we have for PFS maybe I'll work on a template this week.

What I ultimately did is created events for online and offline games. Everything I run online Paizo related (PFS & SFS) gets slammed into the Online events. My offline event contains my local "home" game (games I run with my regular weekly game group) as well as the rare local event I might run at a store or the like.

Online (and offline) conventions are usually handled by the con-staff/Paizo rep at the con, so typically no worries there.

I usually just save and exit, but you need to make sure all the info is there. Sometimes it seems to reset info if you do not do it in order (i.e. it removes the "STAR" part of the game system used...that sort of thing). It can also time out fairly quickly, so don't live it sit too long.

They really need to fix that timing out quickly stuff gets annoying

Already been asked where would someone find the faction pins?

So anything that is found or given in a scenario such as the grenades they can use during the scenarios. So they would have to take the 2 grenades and split them up between the players to use.

After the scenario those items are given back to the Society but may appear on the chronicle sheet for purchase. So the players can purchase what loot they may have found during the scenario. They also get the credits that are posted on the Chronicle sheet for the appropriate tier that they played in.

Regarding the starfield maps. They're nice and pretty, but trying to mark the asteroid field from the quest on them, in ANY color, is hard to see on black. Also, trying to print them out is a LOT of black ink. I'm not sure what to do about this (Space is dark...) but please come up with something that's easier on the printer and on the eyes.

I'm sure with Starfinder you had less time to prep when I played the quest I thought to myself maybe cut out the asteroids on some colored card stock and place them in the star field. Maybe a Idea for future reference

No problem. It may take some time, as I remember one of my tables was not found for months after last GenCon. (I told myself I would take photos of my signin sheets after that. I apparently lied to myself.)

Yes after last year I told myself the same thing I took 3 pictures out of 8 tables this year to hopefully not have that issue. Of course the ones I took pictures of were already reported I'm just waitingredients for both specials to get reported to have my 200th table

there was a clarification from Thirsty that the AP would get the repeatable tag.

Do you recall if the entire AP was getting the repeatable tag or just the 1-2

The weekly emails we got where a bit wonky this year some showed up late Monday not on Sunday but the other info that could be in the email next year especially for the new volunteers is parking cost and the $50.00 deposit for the hotel room. Those things catch people off guard and should be mentioned earlier then the hygiene email so people who have a tighter budget can be prepared.

To be honest I think we may see it sometime this week after the Paizo staff gets back from Gen Con and gets some much needed rest. I suspect they will get the website fixed and updated and we should be able to find the download then.

I've been to GenCon for five years running now but this is going to be the first time I've tried to get in some RPG gaming, as I've been mostly a minis gamer. I've got my badge, but because I get it through volunteering for a company I didn't get it nearly in time to register for some of the more popular stuff, like 9-00 or Starfinder. For those of you who've played at GenCon before, how likely is it that there will be openings because players don't show? Is it worth it to buy some genetic badges and linger, hoping to get into an event?

Last year I was able to use a generic for the special like 9-00 it's worth a shot

I'm interested in seeing the boon slots and how they work. Also if their is a society starfinder character sheet

Crap. I was told parking was something like $70 for the length of the con... I was under the (perhaps mistaken) impression that that was at the hotel.

Looks like quite a few schedule adjustments have been sent out. I haven't gotten anything yet but that could be because they haven't gotten too it yet.

Is there a point at which I should safely presume my schedule is locked in? I don't expect an email to say "your schedule is staying the same" because the lead team has enough email to manage as it is :D

The Starfinder Society adventures have introduced a series of tags on just under the table of contents. These are defined in the upcoming Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide, and I'll summarize them here.

Exclusive: This adventure can only be run under special circumstancs, such as at certain events or by certain GMs.
Faction: This adventure has a special faction tie-in.
Quest: This adventure is a series of short quests.
Replayable: This adventure can be replayed for credit.
Starship: This adventure involves starship combat.

So when you get your scenario(s), you can take a look for the starship tag. If it has that, prep the starship combat rules. Otherwise? You can focus on other parts of the book.

I was at GenCon two years ago when we were at one of the Marriotts, and they had an underground garage. Anything similar at the Westin?

Last year I parked at the airport and took a shuttle bus to the westin. It cost me like $60.00 total I think the Westinghouse charges $40.00 a night for their garage

I frequently print out the opening mission briefing. After I read it to the group, I hand it to them as a handout, so they can copy the spellings of names, review the details, etc without having to ask me to repeat myself over and over.

Last night a player asked me about retraining discoveries and the cost I haven't had a chance to look up the answer yet anyone want to point me in the right direction please and thank you.

I play a Cleric in rune Lords while we are partially done with book 2 at the lower levels I haven't had to do to much healing.

I found out last year I really didn't have time between slots to get food unless it was at the sagamore, bring stuff you can carry in a back pack to hold you over, and make sure you have asprin or some other stuff for headaches.

A tiefling is not a legal race to play now unless you have a boon or made one and played it when it was a legal race.
