Their covers are pretty good indeed.
My favorites are probably "Wenches and Mead", "Drink" and "Keelhauled".
"F!#~ed by an anchor" might be in the list when I assimilate it a bit better. Dal and I couldn't stop laughing when we heard it the first time because one of the NPCs from S&S says "f*ck" like 3 times per second so we inmediately imagined her singing this song. It's probably a reflection of myself using a lot of curse words in real life. I usually avoid using them while GMing but in S&S I set myself free and created a lot of NPCs that used curse words.
Kileanna the character is kinda the opposite. If you ask her to use curse words she'd probably recite the verbal component of a Bestow Curse spell.

And yes, of some of the more colourful stores are true, some of them may even have fought in the nude.
Are you talking about vikings or about my S&S party?
I'm writing a new chapter right now and for some reason it seems to focus in explaining how the captain spent half of her time nude xDThey also tended to be kinda... explicit in public. At the beginning of the adventure they shared a room with the rest of the crew and there was no room for privacy. They didn't care, they were pirates dammit!
It was mostly my doing, as I wanted to reflect that pirates didn't care at all about established morality. We were playing RoW at the same time and everybody was very serious and uptight, so it was a fun contrast to do.

Dal's parents have given us some Padrón peppers so I'm doing them today with a couple of big beef steaks (also given by them).
This peppers are delicious. They are famous for being very tricky: one of them are almost sweet, others are slightly spicy and some of them are hot as hell. There is even a rhyme about them (lost in translation) which says "The peppers from Padrón, ones are spicy, others are not".
I hope it is true this time. The last time I got some of them none were spicy.

They are great. I would compare them with italian green peppers even if they are much smaller. But with the addition of somw of them being very spicy. I wouldn't compare their taste to chili peppers or jalapeños though. They are kinda different.
The traditional recipe is deep frying them and then adding salt, but I get good results stirring them.
I'm doing a very basic recipe today, with beef with just salt, no pepper, no spices, so I don't mask the basic flavors. When the ingredients are good, why masking them?

Dry fry? No clue what you are talking about.
Btw: the results. Olive oil, peppers, salt... easy and delicious !

Looks pepperilcious.
Really want to taste them, especially if they taste slightly different each times as you described.
That's the fun of eating them!
They are very popular in Galicia and people who tastes them for the first time usually finds them surprising. This time all of them had a slightly spicy taste, about 50% were kinda spicy and a couple of them were actually hot. None of them was enough to make me shed tears, though. As I cook them with almost no oil the spicy point is enhanced as fats remove part of the spicy flavor.

Unfortunately I don't really think, I can get my hands on some up here easily, but I'll keep my eyes out for them.
Oh I forgot to greet everyone; Hello everyone, how has the day treated you thus far?
Me? I doing okay, I have a sore lower back, but other then that I'm mostly okay.

The original ones are only grown in a town called Padrón and near places, so they can only be found at determinate times of the year in a small quantity. There are similar peppers that are grown in Morocco and can be easier to get (called also peppers from Padrón) but they are disappointing. The spicy quality depends a lot on the weather and moisture of the land so they are not spicy at all even if they look mostly the same.
They are probably sold on the internet but I don't think that aside from that they would be easy to find out of Spain.
I hope your pain in the ass disappears soon, Kjeldorn ;-D
I've had a good day until now. As I've already got paid I was able to get rid of all my white hair finally! I was starting to look like a granny!!!

Hope you've at least been spare the dreaded bald-spot.
It runs in my family, but it looks like my father, brother and me might be the ones, to break that particular curse ^^.
Passed along by genes you get from your mother as I understand. I have hair on the sides, nothing on top, it receded clear back; think of Patrick Stewart in his days say of STNG, that's about right except not quite as far down the sides. Plus a few hairs up front that just won't say die!

Then you look sophisticated!
Edit: Might consider getting a flat cap if you wanna go full distinguished oldie (I'm ashamed to admit that I actually own one, then again, I also own a felt cowboy hat, I wear during summer time ^^).

I think grey hair in men is very attractive. In my family we tend to grow grey hair at a young age. I dye my hair since I was 17 and got my first white streak at 13 (it wasn't in a visible place though).
But nobody is bald at least. My grandfather died at 95 years with a still fairly thick white mane.
And I have a lot of hair. Most of it on the bottom of my bath tube.

Did you used common salt or... er... I don't know the proper translation for "sal gorda" (fat salt?)
Anyway, nice result!

Looks like you had fun. Being tired after exercising is satisfying!
Today I walked like 20 km in all day and I am now comfortably lying on my bed. This is paradise!
I don't think my campaign journal is serious anymore... Aliases have gone insane xD
Well, you DO seem to be the one who wants to have more aliases than Captain Yesterday....

I don't try to match him, he's the boss on that. I am just a humble admirer xD
But it was fun creating some aliases so the characters of the campaign made their own remarks and reflect their personalities. I forgot they were pirates and they would want to take control xD
Edit: Insomnia...

I only have seven or eight, but I made them so no one else would grab them first because I'm a selfish get.
That's a good reason.
The official characters that I have registered aren't probably not of much interest to anybody but me, as they are mostly obscure characters that I brought for some story and somehow they stuck there.
Mohrlex, Sylvyana or Marianna fall into that category, and are more my version of them rather than an attempt on the official ones.
Then the main NPCs from Skull and Shackles plus the PCs from the players that aren't on the forum (at least my version of them) were created to make their own remarks on the campaign journal to make a complement to the story. I have fun doing it.
Then there is the horde of NPCs and PCs from old stories that I had fun playing and I like to give them a voice just for fun.
Then some of them which are some sort of jokes born in the messageboards, as Derailer of Threads, Pinecone Girl or Kileanna's inner Pirate (and Gyarados!).
And then, this one. It was done as an anagram of my real name and it's probably the one that better depicts my real self xD
