Hello all!
I am new to Pathfinder and was wondering what class, archetype, etc I could use that are legal in PFS which closely resemble a vampire.
I found this in additional resources:
"Archetypes: All archetypes in this book are legal for play except blood alchemist, bloody jake, dark elementalist, devolutionist, elder mythos cultist, experimenter, family hunter, gaslighter, gingerbread witch, hate-monger, life channeler, mad scientist, necrologist, serial killer, and undead master; the eldritch poisoner archetype grants Skill Focus (Craft [alchemy], Disguise, or Knowledge [engineering]) at 3rd level and 11th level as bonus feats instead of Brew Potion and Craft Construct."
Will the Horror source material help me answer this question? Any other suggestions?
I look forward to all of your responses!
- Adam

Lunar Mystery = Blood Of The Moon
Eldritch Heritage = Ultimate Magic
Take one bloodline that fits.
Maybe Dragon for the wings but obviously some undead stuff.
Bite Attack = ARG (ART), APG (Feat) or Orcs Of Golarion (Trait). Also two racial Curses (Hunger & Wolfscarred Face) for Oracles with bite attack but there meant for Cyclops and Aasimars so i'm not sure u can use it for PFS.
Maybe take a look for the Spirit Guide archetype (ACG) and the Bones Spirit for more undead stuff.

There is a Kineticist archetype, the Blood Kineticist, that allows you to manipulate your enemy's blood. It even lets you heal by "draining" them eventually.
The Necromantic Affinity feat lets you play a character who can heal off of Inflict magic.

Wayangs, though a small race, are tied to shadows, get Darkvision, and don't get a strength penalty if you want to be stealthy & thuggish. Awkward as a grappler though, unless you don't mind not grappling larger enemies.
The Brawler-Strangler archetype gets Stealth & does bonus damage when grappling which you can flavor as digging your teeth into their neck rather than fingers.
A Magus using necromancy spells can give the flavor via Chill Touch & Vampiric Touch on your attacks. Plus spells would give you some vampire-like abilities.
Hungry Ghost Monk sucks ki (life force) from opponents and leaps like a vampire might. Add Qinggong Monk archetype to pick up Gaseous Form like a vampire. Monks grapple pretty well too. You could even be an atypical Monk, dipping another class for armor & weapons because Hungry Ghost abilities are triggered by crits, not just unarmed strikes.
For that, Hungry Ghost mixes with Monk of the Sacred Mountain which can toughen your character while giving up things you'd lose in armor anyway. Oddly, you could still add a 4th archetype (since none switch out same abilities), Master of Many Styles, which loses flurry (which you'd lose in armor) and opens up those style feats early which can give some dramatic abilities, perhaps mirroring what a vampire might achieve, or aiding your grappling.
The BAB would be behind, but you'd have solid saving throws & some nifty "vampire" abilities. You don't need to be maxed out to contribute in PFS, so don't worry overmuch.
Hmm...now I kinda wanna make one. :)
Cheers, JMK

There are so many options!Coming from D&D, this seems like going from middle-school to Ph.D. haha
Thank you for all of the input thus far. If anything else comes to mind please let me know. I'll go through these options with my local GMs and we will see what can be agreed upon. I'm not trying to min-max a PC, but I'd like to build a character as close to resembling a vampire as possible. This is where Pathfinder excels- the vast variety truly allows you to make virtually whatever you want. Great stuff thus far!

Splashing verminous hunter with a dead pet would give you the leech animal focus ability, which would give bleed damage to grapples.

Do you have the text for that one?
Hmm
You take damage from positive energy and heal from negative energy as if you were undead. At 5th level you gain channel resistance +4. At tenth level you add vampiric touch to your list of 3rd level spells known and undead anatomy II to your list of 5th level spells known. At 15 you gain DR 5/magic. Its a pretty neat touch of vampiric themed abilities. All in all if you like the themes of Horror Adventures corruptions the Oracle Curses are neat mechanics. One is banned for cannibalism (Ghoul) and the other for RAW killing your character in one scenario (Promethean).
EDIT:My favorite personally is Lichdom because you've accidentally done almost everything to turn yourself into a lich.

One could also be a Vigilante and take the Social Talent called Guise of Undeath, from the Spymaster's Handbook. It gives you an alternate identify of looking like a vampire version of yourself and detecting as a vampire by divination spells.
Edit: this option could be taken with a single level dip into Vigilante. So, combined with some of the options listed above, who's to say which is the "real" you?
