How do I add an event to the calendar and get this event and the players registered. I know its short notice. I only found out about this Event a few days ago. After a few emails back an forth with host, I was invited to run a P.F.S. game. I will be hosting one table for a 4 hour event with pre-generated characters. I rill run the scenario "First Steps, Part I In Service to Lore". Its an easy simple scenario for new players to run and understand.

The Event is Call ThunderCon

The event will take place at the Alpena Mall (2380 US-23, Alpena, MI 49707) on Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of July. Current Hours of operation are Saturday the 23rd of July from 11:00AM until 8:00 PM and Sunday 24th of July from 12:00PM until 4:00PM. This schedule may be adjusted to accommodate various activities. A full schedule will be posted prior to the event taking place.

Ahhh.. that explains things.

Go to pathfinder society by clicking any logo in the upper left hand corner

Light gray bar click "my pathfinder society"

Click GM / Even coordinator tag

Scroll down to the bottom click "create event"

Be sure to click the "looking for players" in the box

fill out teh infor.

If this doesn't work i can just set it up for you and add it to the events.

I don't know if it will make it onto the events calander in time, but very few people use that thing as far as i know. I can't find my own games on it

thanks I think I got it up... Should I get a list of email address from the people attending? Should I tell them to register with Pathfinder Society to get a Id #?

it depends on how you're organizing a group. My group is small enough that it's just a big email list. I've seen forums, email lists, meetupgroups, or nothing but warhorn.

Should I tell them to register with Pathfinder Society to get a Id #?

Yes.

If you want to make it easier Get them some cards (if that link doesn't work, its pathfinder society, my pathfinder society, GM tab, scroll waaaay down to the bottom

Okay I had my first event. I must say it was a success for only having a few days planning. We had 9 players run through the beginning module. How do I register their emails, so they are registered with Paizo. I had each of them give me their contact info.

So basically, what is next for me to do?

They don't register their emails with Paizo. Thats on them to do. if they register their characters it just makes the rest of the reporting easier.

If you gave them pathfinder society id cards

Go to pathfinder society
My pathfinder society
Sign in
Click the GM/Event Coordinator tab
Click on the Event
Click report
Fill in the info

If the character is registered it will pop up. If it's not you'll have to enter their names.

When you're done hit save and exit.
