So spark of life is a universal utility wild talent that can be taken by any kineticist.
Aerokineticists summon air elementals
Geokineticists summon earth elementals
Hydrokineticists summon water elementals
Pyrokineticsts summon fire elementals
Telekineticists summon aether elementals
So what do chaokineticists summon? Murder elementals?
And while we're at it, what about the phytokineticist?
That's a very good question, because I'd been debating making one of those myself. Though, the phytokineticists might be able to just summon a plant spirit - like a leshy?
I'd love to know too, in all honesty, what a chaokineticist would summon... a shadow elemental with negative energy attacks?
I do know Tome of Horrors has a few elementals that'd be good substitutes for now, as does Frog God Games.
As for the phytokineticists, if not plant spirits, maybe they'd have a substitute somewhere on the pfsrd.

Aren't all elementals murder elementals?
:)
Negative Energy Elementals ARE a thing... albeit in the Tome of Horrors.

They reach across to the opposite side of the universe to summon your enemy's antimatter twin. Sound good?

Actually, it should probably be a "Zero-Point Energy Elemental."

When I copy-and-pasted it, there was an extra space.

It's the Frog God elemental referenced upstream a couple times.

Looking it up, the product page here on Paizo says the Tome of Horrors is a Frog God Games product, and not a Paizo product.
"Albeit in Tome of Horrors" was supposed to give that away. Its only rival for most famous 3PP is the Dreamscarred psionics stuff, IMO. Paizo tends to include at least one ToH monster in each recent AP.
Not sure about the other early APs, but Legacy of Fire made use of ToH(c) monsters. So, there is a precedent that Paizo products use the ToH interchangeably with the core monster material.
Paizo's been known to reprint Tome of Horrors monsters in their own bestiaries, too. XD It's pretty much the go-to source for some of the more iconic creatures from the past. It also means that if Paizo wants to go ahead and bring in the Negative Energy Elementals as something for Chaokineticists to summon, that's possible...
Supposedly negative energy elementals were supposed to be in the last bestiary, because that was the response when the player companion was released, but apparently they didn't make the cut.
Has there been any update on this?
Take fire elemental, swap fire subtype with negative energy affinity, swap fire damage for negative energy damage.

This is FAQ-worthy, no?
I think so.

I didn't think that Player Companion's got FAQs?

I think so. I didn't think that Player Companion's got FAQs? They do, but far more rarely than the RPG line. The last one was in April 2015
There is a bit of a worry with if you FAQ it though, might end up saying "Chaokineticists and Phytokineticists cannot take Spark of Life" and then a few months later Wood elementals and Void elementals get stated up.
Well we know that we will not get a void or wood elemental for Bestiary 6. But that doesn't mean we will not see them in something eventually.
Which is terrible, since they're greatly needed. Well, for those two elements anyway. It seems bad two options are completely unusable.
Technically this will be a problem every time we get a new kineticist element. But there is a chance we might get the elementals before we get any new elements.
Perhaps we could get a template or table for converting existing elementals to new ones and just replace damage types, minus the change to damage, it's already been done for familiars
I would prefer the new monsters, with new art, and interesting abilities.

Last I heard we were supposed to have had them in Bestiary V. I was sorely disappointed when I found out otherwise.

This is a game that originally grew out of 3.0/3.5 material and paizo just tried to carry the torch due to the dissatisfaction with the transition to 4.0. So there are always some of those old stuff that was made by paizo, but has questionable legality as 'pathfinder' material.
