Forming a racial party

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

I love playing Raz the Gnome Paladin and have discovered a new love of Lini from the Pathfinder Adventures app. That got me wondering what parties you could make if you wanted to restrict to characters of the same race. I thought I'd post this here just so people could see what is the state of PACG characters today. This includes only characters that have been published on the character sheets, so doesn't include the previewed characters from Mummy's Mask.

And the interesting thought is that when the Goblin decks come out, they're intended to be played together (racially).

Also, Ekkie is a Cutpurse which is more rogue-like than ranger-like.

Yep, cut-and-paste error. :(

OTHERS ?!!

The Lizardfolk find your racist tread offensive!

Then again, Paizo has been known to do that even when introducing its iconics - you have your "Valeros the Fighter", "Seoni the Sorcerer"... but then, of course you get "Merisiel, the ELF Rogue", or "Harsk, the DWARF"...

Hey, there was a time in D&D where if you chose to play a human, you could be a cleric, a fighter, a magic user, or a thief... but if you chose to play a dwarf, elf, or halfling, that was effectively your class as well as your race.

Scarab Sages

No list of humans? But seriously - could make for some interesting (and in some cases challenging) parties.

Silver Crusade

There are a couple of skills that seem to happen along racial lines. Halflings tend to have acrobatics. Dwarves tend to have fortitude.

That makes a lot of sense, given the source material.

An aside on the fortitude: I was very surprised while playing Pathfinder Adventures to relearn that RotR Kyra has Fortitude: Constitution + 3. I kept getting a +3 on my checks to acquire armors that I assumed was some kind of bug before actually checking her skills. :P I guess that incarnation of Kyra really took the teachings (read: blessing) of Saranrae to heart.

Silver Crusade

I would be very curious to know why the various deities got assigned the blessings they did. Some of them, like Torag for non-combat strength and Erastil for combat dex, seem very aligned. Others are not unaligned but are less obvious to me, like Sarenrae and constitution. (Also want to know what blessings of Zon-Kuthon, Urgathoa, and Rovagug would look like.)

I know Mike said that Pharasma was because they wanted Seoni to want that card.

They'd probably look similar to some of the corrupted blessings in WotR.

Blessing of Pharasma is probably the most dissonant of the initial blessings. Nethys should be spellcasting, Pharasma should (probably) be vs. Undead.

Silver Crusade

Strangely (and I should prolly stop derailing this thread), the Blessing of the Lady of Graves has the Undead trait.

I like that there are two dwarf rangers but no elf rangers.
