Good morning Treeforters!
My condolences to everyone facing sadness and loss in the pupper area. I came very close to losing mine this Fall, and only the kindness of my friend circle made it possible to save him. My finances are shambolic, and until I get my raise this Fall, I am still on a ramen diet.
Those of you waiting on me to produce game updates. Although it has become an issue, like a multi-month issue, I have been working on getting my act together. I think the key will be disciplining myself to reserve two hours a night to updates. It’s just taking that 6-8pm period and doing it. I find my new job has really cut into my Internet. It’s just the way it is.
Anyway, I hope to figure out just what I am doing, at some point. I will make no predictions, as I have disappointed before, but I don’t want my games to die.
Have a good Wednesday

Well, Sharoth, when your brain flew home for the summer, it sublet your noggin to Barrel of Monkeys, Ltd. Patrick got the master bedroom, I got the guest bedroom, Grape Ape is staying in the attic, Grodd turned your basement into a lab, and Caesar is sleeping on the couch for a couple days.

You are all equally worthless.
Patrick,
While my dog woes are not great, they are now more bearable I think.
Also I almost got T-boned trying to get paper for this wedding. How? Simple, I was driving down the street when at the bottom of it, there's a road connecting it to our local park and swimming area. SUDDENLY this guy come flying out of nowhere and almost hits me. I slam on the brakes and give him/her the horn...and then I turn away from him because I wasn't going to follow him. So the universe sent me to CVS for paper.
I think everyone has worth. I mean, if you break down the human skeleton all the minerals they have add up to a very small amount. So we're not worthless, just not worth much.
Cal,
You definitely have worth. I value you about 50 lb of mithril. ;)

Now she (sort of) preparing for college, treating it as if its no big deal, all the hard stuff is behind her,... ARGH!
And our other just graduated middle school, going to 9th grade high school next, and all of that mid teenage boy angst stuff...

I am at a conference in Boston. I have some downtime this afternoon. I have decided to spend it taking a self-guided Fallout 4-themed walking tour.
Here’s hoping I don’t run into any super mutants.

Getting drunk is a good way to destroy some math. ;)

Nothing quite like the last day or two before a large number of guests arrive to put you through exercise like nothing else. My legs are aching and my back sore and I'm only half done with the day's list of things to do.
That's me on game night. I spend all week prepping for the game (and wasting volumes of time on the internet). Then I rush like my hair's on fire and butt's a-catching to get the house clean before my friends arrive.
The Mad Comrade wrote: Getting drunk is a good way to destroy some math. ;) Yes. Get sufficiently drunk, and all the numbers merge together. Great fun, but I don't envy the headache that results.

As a freshman in college I drank a lot. A LOT. I took a Literature final so drunk that when I got dressed my shirt was inside out and I only had on one sock. I passed the test and then passed out on the way back to the dorm. I fell under the low handing branches of a magnolia tree. A friend saw my feet sticking out and helped me back to my room.
Good times.

Waited until the day my mom was coming down to attend my daughters graduation the next day, before actually starting to clean the house. :P
TALKED about it for 2 weeks, PLANNED on stuff for a week, and then did what I could in a day. :P
So who's got things going on this weekend? This is our off week and my knee is getting better so I might finally be able to tackle some of the house cleaning I've fallen so far behind on.
So how about the rest of you? Any dice pitchin' going on?
Last night my EVIL PCs made it through a Portal from Sembia to Anauroch trying to get back to Zhentil Keep. Ended the night heading there in manacles as "traitors", their Black Network cover stories! A good cut point for when table top returns in September:-)

My pup got so much love and so many treats from my friends it was terrific. One player found 11 oz steak mis-marked at .26! He (and his brother) will eat that all weekend!

I probably shouldn’t go back to Boston.

Seem's It's Time To Say Goodbye
Too bad. But I quite understand. I almost went that way myself, but I have always been leery of pronouncing a final departure. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Better to leave a door open IMO.
But fair travels and best wishes to him.
Edit: I guess he did leave an option to return.
