Go left... no! Right!... left!... back up!... no down!... right! No left! Pull up! Pull up! pull up!!!

...Oh, we haven't left the driveway yet... you sure about that?...

Easy, treading WAY too close to how I felt allowing my teen to drive today,... ;P

Yes, she passed her driving classes. Doesn't mean she's ready.
Even if she IS, it doesn't mean I'M ready! :P

<Waves gratz to Aeglos, digital hug to Treppa, goes to fix dinner.>

I'm sorry to hear your emotions are acting like sailors on shoreleave.

Now every time someone uses the term 'whacko' I always think of this

Damn Car insurance went up over $500 for the next six months! ~grumbles and curses~ I guess I will be looking elsewhere instead of using Allstate.

Off to do more volunteering with the big animal disaster farm.

If you don't periodically shop your car insurance, it is safe to say you are paying too much.

NOPE.

I am leaving home for a Dresden Files session within an hour... It does not look like it is going to rain less. I'll be wet, cold, and unhappy.

At least one of co-players will drive me back home after session.

I was mad because mine went up $10 for 6 months. Geesh.

2nd to last hand physical therapy session today. Only gained 2 degrees of movement last week, where I'd been gaining 4 each prior week. But up to 30 degrees, which is about half of normal, so woo! But she decided to really bend it hard today to break loose the joint - she can do it better than I with two hands, and she keeps working through pain that would make me stop. Because she doesn't feel it, until I punch her.

So really sore now and back to typing without it. And I will need to work it hard to keep whatever improvement she made today. "Pain and swelling are good - they show we're making progress. When it settles down and stops hurting, that's where it's going to stay." So... pain, awaaaaay!

We've been with Progressive so long, any switches add like $400-500 to our premium.

Well, day cut short due to massive rain. I haven't been this wet since Basic Training in Missouri. Time to go home and relax.

I am happy they have moved all the animals to a much nicer setting. No more wading through rotted garbage and feces. The animals look a lot happier and healthier.

Urgh. Not feeling great tonight. Getting rained on for five hours wasn't the best for health.

Celestial Healer, Freehold, do you have any plans for the weekend?

My friend is visiting New York this weekend, and she could use some babysitting showing around the city...

I do not recommend tossing hay bales in the pouring rain for exercise.

Or topping the day off with leftover Mexican food

Why is it that when you make something spicy it seems to get even hotter the older it is? I swear, cooking with jalapeños is Russian Roulette for your GI tract.

Hope you are feeling OK, Patrick. Sounds like a good way to get sick.

EDIT: This was regarding pouring rain, but holds equally as well for leftover Mexican.

But, the day calls, and I must summon my positivity and face the day with a smile

Not sick, per se. Just feeling rundown

Be sure to treat yourself well today - maybe splurge on a nice orange juice or kale blazer or some other nutritious pick-me-up.

I woke up at 2:30 am dreaming that Jerry Cantrell was performing a ritual to resurrect Layne Staley so the original Alice in Chains could play another concert. It was a stupid dream, because he'd have to bring back Mike Starr, too.

So 3-1/2 hours of sleep. That's not too bad, is it?

Patrick Curtin wrote:

That sounds a lot more like work than exercise. :P

Hope you feel better soon!

Reminded of a story I read where one scene had the protagonist give someone crap for healing them magically after a work-out session because the pain made them feel they'd done their job.
