Guy playing PACG: "Hey, you're Mike Selinker, right?"
Me: "Yup. How do you like the Pathfinder game?"
Guy: "I'd like it a whole lot better if Seelah hadn't just died."
Me: "Gimme your rulebook."
Guy: "Ohhhkay."
<writes "Seelah is alive.--Mike Selinker" in his rulebook>
Me: "There, it's in the rules."
Guy: "I like the game a lot better now."

Guy playing PACG, in France very far from Orca Con and Not-this-Mike: "Hey, you're Frencois, right?"
Me: "Yup. How do you like Mike's game?"
Guy: "I'd like it even better if possible if we could keep on improving the rules."
Me: "Gimme your rulebook."
Guy: "Ohhhkay."
<writes "Any rule that Frencois is adding is a rule until proven guilty by Mike, Vic or Hawk" in his rulebook>
Me: "There, it's in the rules."
Guy: "Who do you think you are?"
Well, I tried...

Changes like this are a rare exception to my "Mark my game and I will cut you" rule :)
A friend of mine has an "errata" card for a Firefly board game, erratad in white pen by Nathan Fillion. I don't know why, but when someone connected to a game starts changing things, it suddenly becomes awesome!
