I am pretty sure that they are not, unless the archetype's changed features match the unchained monk. This is quite difficult due to how much change occurred when the monk was unchained.
I have to recommend you look into these products:
Everyman Unchained: Monk Archetypes
Everyman Unchained: Monk Archetypes II
Between these two books, almost every single Paizo monk archetype was translated to Unchained. The second book also has a few brand new archetypes that are not based on Paizo archetypes. Considering their prices, these books are a serious steal.

There is one archetype that mechanically still works, that that is Hamatulatsu Master. However, it has been explicitly stated that regular Monk archetypes don't work with the Unchained Monk.
I guess that is the answer then. I dislike the spirit of the ruling, but its not like it will affect me in any way though due to Everyman Gaming being ahead of the game.

I guess it would have been a bit much to expect the Unchained Monk archetypes to be in Pathfinder Unchained (although ACG/ACO and Occult Adventures introduced all of their classes with archetypes), but does anyone know when Unchained Monk archetypes are supposed to be coming out from Paizo?
So while at GenCon this year, I was in a Q&A session with the Pathfinder Design Team and asked a very similar question.
Their response to me was that they plan on making most, if not all, future monk archetypes both Unchained- and classic-monk simultaneously compatible.
In terms of classic monk archetypes, they had no foreseeable plans of going back to retrofit classic monk archetypes into Unchained-compatible ones. Jason Bulmahn explained that you technically still could take classic monk archetypes as an Unchained monk, replacing Unchained class features at the levels indicated by the classic archetype's features, but it wouldn't be nearly as clean, wouldn't work in all cases, nor would it be legal in PFS.
Needless to say, I was a little bummed at that latter response.

This is a shame really. Why play unchained monk if you aren't going to take the time to retrofit the previous archetypes. it basically removes choices from players. Rather sad.

To be fair, many monk archetypes exist to counteract a core monk being ridiculously weak. An UnMonk witch archetypes would thus end up notably stronger than Paizo envisioned.
That said, even UnMonk isn't that strong, so from a balancing point of view, the only archetype that I could see as problemativ would be Zen Archer (also one of the hardest ones to adapt to UnMonk, by the way).
There are a few archetypes that could be used without any change, a few more that would only need very little change (mainly because Ki Pool and Still Mind switched their levels), and a lot of archetypes that could be made to work if you have their abilities replace Ki Powers - the main problem would be to decide if you they should replace the Ki Power one level lower (like Monk of the Mantis) or higher (like Serpent-Fire Adept).
