Just marked another one for today.
And voted for it.
The customer service manager confirmed it in the cull thread that one did indeed happen yesterday around 1:40 PST.
Is there any new items popping up or is that final list for the fourth cull.

We can never confirm that everything that's left has been seen.

Mein Gott I'm still in it. Do I really have to read up on maps now? T.T

Still alive...
Come on my dear, deeply flawed, helpless little item. Let your charm shine through and keep on running towards that light!

My item and your item should befriend the Katniss of this year's items. {makes note to add "ride coat tails" ability to my item next year}
Where are you, my precious?
The list says you made it past 4 culls, but you have yet to appear on my voting page!
Just testing - my profile is not showing my Marathon from last season...
It should show Dedicated 2013, Dedicated 2014 and Marathon 2015 or Seasons 6, 7 and 8 respectively...

I didn't see my item on my voting booth until after I had hit Dedicated. And I've only seen it once so far.
Yeah I know.
I have one friend that entered the competition this year (we critiqued each others items) and I have seen his item 5 times!
Well, it looks like there is a consistent ~82% retention rate on each cull after the first. If there are one or two more culls we should end up with 250 or 205, respectively.
Then the judges will confirm the top 32, I guess.
I would guess there will probably only one more cull – sometime tomorrow afternoon. Then there won't be time to do another before voting closes on Sunday. I am going to assume the paizo people wont be working on the weekend.

First, I would like to take this time to thank those of you who have taken the time to mark items you have seen after each cull. I know we all understand that feeling of not knowing how well our item is doing, or even if it still exists and hasn't been quietly DQ'd or something. Being able to see that my item is still in the running after the 4th cull is a tremendous feeling of pride for me, so I hope you can accept my humble appreciations.
Having said that, I think it's also time that I mention:
That it's clear my brilliance and sheer scope of vision is going to carry my item straight into the Top 32. The past years of not making the 1st cull were clearly the result of incompetence (on your end), at least from the majority of you. For those who did see the genius, you also failed me by not voting enough.
This will be the year when, despite all your wishes, I take control of the inner workings of Pathfinder and mold it into a new form! A new era where you worms feel the iron heel of my boot as adventures and maps weed out sissy weaklings and entitled whiners! Also, speaking of wishes they'll be twisted...
Don't worry, I am still leaving room for 31 of you to find a place in my mighty shadow, not unlike comely maidens in filigree slave-girl outfits. Filigree is still in this year, right? Doesn't matter, it will be with me in charge; filigree battle-maps, filigree haunts, filigree traps... Actually it's... starting to not even look or sound like a real word anymore the more I say it.
So, in closing, best of luck to all of you in your scrambling for slots 2 - 32.
NINE OF NINE, is that you ?

For those who like watching the numbers, here are a few interesting tidbits so far:
Overall the culls have been very even in terms of item type. If you projected the Top 32 strictly in terms of percentage of field, the only thing that would have changed between initial submissions and post-4th cull is that the Top 32 would have one fewer Eye slot Wondrous Item and one more Hand slot Wondrous Item.
That said, there have been some outliers in terms of survival percentage, and I've listed them below, marked with an asterisk if the initial population was <10.
Overall survival percentage of 44.48%
High Survival:
Wondrous Item - Feet: 90%
Shield: 86.67%
Wondrous Item - Belt: 72.73%
Wondrous Item - Chest: 66.67%*
Low Survival:
Wondrous Item - Eyes: 26.67%
Wondrous Item - Headband: 25%*

Wow. I just found an item that passed the 4th cull and was not marked. Sheet amended!

I've been sick, busy with work, uni and all sorts of other things. I popped in to check if my item has survived the culls I missed. Somehow I still survive. Making it through the cull hoops makes me a happy robot.
Oh wow chest suddenly dropped but feet still remains?

How, how, how am I still in this? My item is good, but it commits one of the cardinal sins. i guess it's forgivable if done well... Fingers crossed for this weekend.

Saw my item for 3rd time. 1st attempt for me. A little nauseous.
Hopefully for me first time is a charm after making it this far.
It looks like we might have another stealth cull. Do we want to start using the fifth cull column as a prospective cull column?

It's very common to not have all items reported as seen by this time of day. If we find out later there was one, it's pretty easy to populate Cull Column 5.

Hey there you are!
Just saw an item that, according to the sheet, hadn't been seen since yesterday. If you thought you were culled, check the list again!

From the original submissions, the survival rate of item types past the third cull is: I know what I am going to make and not going to make next year! RPG SS Season 10 - Land of 1,000 magic shirts! Oooh... Chest as in 'upper torso'. I was somehow reading chest as 'large box', and was confused, since I didn't even know that was a slot.... /facepalm

I may have submitted the wrong item this year.
Looks like the cull monster ate my baby. I hope some brave heroes come along looking for some experience points.

What a great way to wake up at the start of a bank holiday long weekend :D
Just got home from the first session of our new Iron Gods campaign to see there was a cull earlier today. Must go check the List!
Edit: Whew! Okay I will be able sleep tonight.
Will there be a way to get the writeup of your item back? I had a bit of a harddrive crash recently and realized I never bothered saving my item on the cloud. Sadly, it was culled the first round, apparently.

Your best bet is sending Feros a private message.
He kept the texts of each item he voted on.

I may have submitted the wrong item this year. A deal so good, you can't let go! 5 out of 5 stars.
Can someone explain what, if anything, some of the things signify? I notice that some of the cells are shaded green, others gold, others left unshaded. I'm guessing that having an X in the row underneath the culls means it's still in. Anything else I'm missing?

And yes, if there's an X in the cull column, that means it was seen after the cull, on the day specified in the cell to the left.
Okay thanks. First time I entered the contest, and I've made it to about the top 200. Not bad. Still no way in the lower plane of your choice I'm winning.
