We actually looked at that. Trouble is, you're not allowed to build anything on it. So you can own an island in the middle of nowhere that you can't do anything with.
Somehow that $188,000 suddenly seems steep...

I am envious of bears' ability to fall asleep anywhere and sleep through anything.
A closet.
A kiddie pool.
A bathroom.
Someone's front lawn.
After 40+ years of dealing with Yosemite bears, I'm rarely surprised at where they show up. They're incredibly smart, always hungry, and not afraid to sleep wherever they happen to be. Which can be pretty hilarious.
I am envious of bears' ability to fall asleep anywhere and sleep through anything.
I can attest that having a bit of padding helps a LOT with making a hard surface tolerable for a nap. Comes in handy for public transport way stations, minimal effort camping, and escaping relatives by going in the back yard.
