That is an interesting question, although I think you might be taking the monster description too literally.
As an Outsider, the Genies are "at least partially composed of the essence (but not necessarily the material) of some plane". (Bestiary, p309) Also, it doesn't list any specific resistances (for which actually I can find none that do).
Under examples of the Bleeding Attack ability (Core, p68) and the Bleed spell (Core, p249), both say the target must be a living creature. However, the Bleeding condition (Core, p565), Bleeding Critical (Core, p118), and Wounding weapon ability (p472) don't list such a condition. Interestingly enough, the Wounding weapon ability specifically says that creatures immune to critical hits are immune to the bleed damage (but it does say "from this weapon").
Given all of that, I would say that Janni are living creatures, and ARE subject to bleeding. However, that doesn't mean they bleed liquid blood. They may bleed vapor, mist, or clouds, that make them impossible to track by blood. That is a GM call.

I'd agree, If the monster's description doesn't say it's immune to bleed, it bleeds.
Technically there isn't a listing in survival that makes an enemy easier to track when suffering bleed damage, but I'd suggest you encourage your players to be creative.
If you use GM whim to shut down every idea they have... expect every game to devolve into... "Meh, I kick the door in and hit it with my sword"

That's all part of the standard tracking roll, when you make a perception roll to track it assumes that you're looking for the usual things, foot prints, maybe threads of clothing and blood, in other words, traces.
Unlike what you might assume in the movies, tracking by blood only gets you so far, because either the creature stops bleeding relatively soon, or it falls down.

Reading back on my post I see I rolled a 1 on my Description check.
That should read:
One of my players wants to track a wounded Janni via the Blood Biography spell. It looked human enough they currently do not suspect it to be anything but.
So would there be a drop of the creatures blood to use for the spell? They do still get a saving throw...but wanted to see if it were possible first. They know they wounded the guy, so finding NO blood would be a clue in and of itself.
Also, the bit about the "stuff of clouds and air" was my attempt at being facetious. :D
