Ooo, now there's a Fumbus amongus.

Mistress Rysky, do you have any opinions about the newest Pathfinder iconic?

Seems like a pretty chill dood, and I admire his goals.

I am intrigued by the mental image of a goblin who infuses extracts and bombs into pickles.

Lead NPC Minion: "WTF? A goblin with a bandoleer of pickles?! What are you supposed-"

Fumbus: "Taste spicy pickled DEATH!" {flings pickle bomb}

Edit: Ooh my Cos... this would lead to a goblin promethean alchemist who creates a homunculus companion... from a pickle.

Certainly, the flavor of any consumables Fumbus makes is likely to be on the, er... strong side.

Fighter: <crunch, munch> "This healing, er, pickle tastes weird. How long-" <crunch> "-until it starts to kick in?" <munch, munch, munch>

Fumbus: "That's odd, it should- Oh NO!" {looks at pickle perched on shoulder} "This isn't my homunculus; it's the gherkin of cure light wounds. That means-"

Fighter: <crunch, munch, munch>

Fumbus: "Pickle Nik! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

SILLY FUMBUS! PICKLES ARE FOR EATING!

I find it very suspicious that the goblin iconic gets a write up before the book comes out when the other iconic write up all came after..,

Fumbus has actually been available as a playable pregen for around 8 months. If anything this blog is a bit delayed since we waited until we were sure that goblins were going to stick as a core race before we released it.

Been meaning to ask rysk? Did all the flooding reach you at all? cause any problems?

All the other iconics are from the original core rulebook and have been around for over ten years. They don't really need new write ups.

If you mean revealing the new artwork for each, I'm sure that will happen in time.

Unless something happens to all that work, isolated on computer consoles...where they are oh so vulnerable to unluck auras and computer crashes...just saying...

I meant that for some of the iconic it took awhile for them to get a 'Meet the Iconics' article...

Yeah we've had plenty of flooding down here but not too much in the way of damage, internet hasn't been the best though -_-

When you get a chance, could you target SW Florida? This afternoon I was considering taking out all the shelves in the fridge and then climbing inside.

I haven't seen the blurbs yet but going off the covers I'm revitalized.

I love the little bebe dragon kobolds, and the hydra reminds me of the one from Disney's Hercules, brrr.

Also Fumbus is adorable on Lost Omens.

The Kobolds definitely have a different look there.

I think I like it- of course, looking back through the years, kobolds have had one of the more mutable looks in D&D and its successors...

Okay! Thank you! On that note, if I'm trying to scratch a sci-fi-based civ-building game itch, should I look into;

Civilization: Beyond Earth?

Endless Space 2?

What is your favorite season?

It is currently 9 degrees Celsius (48 F) and sunny with 120 cm (4 ft) of snow on the ground. Gorgeous day!

Winter, though I do love the smell of Autumn.

Yay!

And also yay! I'm jealous.

This week it's been starting in the 30-40s F and then staying there or jumping up to 70-80s, so not very pleasant.

They're relaxing and help with certain body issues.

Saunas... unsanitary?

...

Not really.

Hot tubs, yeah, they're best if you change the friggin' water after the last sweaty bastard, but saunas?

If they have wooden floors and benches, yes. Wood is porous, and bacteria can reside in the cracks. Plastic, stone, or metal would be better. And those materials can be more easily cleaned with bleach and hot water.

Do none of you southern types use towels in a sauna?

I mean, getting your sweat all over the friggin' bench is just bad manners, so skin-to-wood contact is generally not a thing.
