When you started spinning, I thought you were going to turn into Wonder Wampi.

I’m going Christmas caroling with some friends. We’ll hand out candy canes.

Would those be... peppermint candy canes? {pupils go wide, drools disturbingly}

They would be!

We've also got someone who plans to dress up as Santa Claus and hand out hot chocolate, but they may or may not be able to make it.

Truthfully, I'm rather proud of the ploy; the hardest part of adulting, I'd say, is how it's no longer socially acceptable to go up to stranger's doors and beg them for candy. But as a caroler I'll have a handy excuse to ring people's doorbells, and after that It'd just be rude not to take their candy, right?

I think I'll make this a Halloween tradition.

You could make a cardboard door prop and go reverse trick or treating.

My Sisters just escaped from Florida...it is 30 to 50 at night here (In NJ)...and they still did not want me to take out their air conditioners
Florida's weird like that.
Update: The weatherperson lied. It never got below 63°F.

:(

*sends hugs to the Slaadi*

Wouldn't it be more productive to send pugwampi to the lying weatherperson?

Me hugging does not prevent you from adventuring.

Huh. I wonder if Ambi has ever tried peppermint tea?

I don't remember what brand I tried so long ago, but pretty sure it wasn't Twinnings. {adds it to shopping list}

Pretty much if it doesn't have the peppermint punch of Rumple Minze or a half-tin of peppermint Altoids, then it ain't pepperminty enough.

Also, that reminds me that my very first RPG character, a AD&D 2e fighter-mage-thief elf, was named... Rumple Minze.

OK, I may have peppermint addiction problem.

(One of my local supermarkets was out of Twinings peppermint, and the other two don't carry it. 'Sokay, I now have a box shipping in from Amazon.)

(...Along with a new mouse. Because apparently I kill them from usage in about 7-8 months.)

Does anyone know if Ambi got banned for her...um...flagrant violation of the rules?

EDIT: I understand and agree with why she did it, just concerned.

Not banned yet, just busy today. Sorry to cause (more) worry.

Also, Twinings peppermint tea is weak. I want peppermint with gusto, the .44 Magnum of peppermints, something that'll blow my head clean off.

You can boil the brewed tea down a bit after brewing a decent sized batch to concentrate the flavour, but I'm not sure how well that would work...
