Two books are already at the printer - the Mythic Monster Manual last week and Mythic Spell Compendium yesterday! Check out the latest posting on our website!
The manuscript for the third and final book, the Mythic Hero's Handbook, is complete and has just been sent out for backer BETA REVIEW. If you're a backer, check your email! If you're not... you'll just have to wait until the books arrive! Fear not, though; there will be previews aplenty as we count down the days until our wide release. These books are going to be amazing, and we thank every one of you who has helped make them a reality, including every contributor as well as every backer and every cheerleader who has urged us on.
As for me, I'll be happy to get a bit more sleep once this project is over, and then start catching up on some others that have had to wait while we get this train into the station. This has been a great project with great partners, but Legendary is certainly more than just mythic, and we've got a whole bunch of cool new stuff coming your way!
We will definitely have samples in time to show off at PaizoCon. If things break the right way, we may get the books in time to distribute to backers at the con and even sell as a convention special, but even if not we will definitely be out in force at GenCon, where Legendary Games, Kobold Press, and TPK Games will be sharing a double booth!

Today brought a present from FedEx in the form of the cover proofs, case samples, and an assortment of sample pages for the Mythic Monster Manual and Mythic Spell Compendium. Take a look and see these books start coming together!
The white book is simply a blank case sample to show the size and weight of the final printed book. The glossy cover spread is called an ozalid and shows what the front and back cover and spine will look like when laminated. Each proof also comes with an inkjet-printed copy of the full book (on the right) just to show the full text of the book as laid out. The page samples are exactly that, printed to make sure color, text, and images are coming through clean and clear. So far, everything is looking great. The Mythic Hero's Handbook is in process at the printer now and should be ready for this stage shortly. Estimated delivery is looking like mid to late June.
I hope you all are as excited about these books as I am!

We have some finalizing to do on the PDFs *as* PDFs (since they are extensively bookmarked and hyperlinked, which the print-ready PDFs are not), so PDFs haven't gone out to backers yet.
I love your enthusiasm for wanting to hop on board with these books, but I should mention that the generally accepted practice is to fulfill all goods to backers before making the products available to other customers. We want to respect their faith and investment in the project when they put their money into it a year ago (it was almost exactly a year ago that we launched the Kickstarter), and part of that is ensuring that they have first access to the product before the general public.
In the case of the PDFs being available after backers get their PDFs but before the books are shipped, I'll talk to the other partners and see what they think. We'll keep you posted when the PDFs are going to be made available for sale.
Thanks for your interest and I hope you love these books/PDFs once you get your hands on em!

Jason,
I will say, especially as my GM is introducing mythic now in our campaign, these books are being released at the right time.
I am a backer (have all three books and PDFs coming), and had the opportunity to look over the Mythic Hero’s Handbook and really liked what I saw.
In regards to PDFs, please take your time to make sure you have everything right before you send them out, but what would be the timeframe on PDFs for backers?
Myrryr
Ty Jason. I admit I feel greedy in asking for them now, but I have 3 (potentially four) mythic games running this moment, two of them being WotR I'm running, and one I'm playing as a psion, so the sooner I can retrain to an actual psionic mythic path with mythic psionic powers instead of houseruling things, the happier my DM will be.
Using the path of the genius right now, which is fun, but not really what the character is.
But thanks for asking the others about the pdfs! I do appreciate that, getting them as early as possible, heh. Much thanks!
Covent
I would like to express my enormous gratitude for the obvious work and love that has gone into this product. I am very sure this will soon be the crown jewel of my Pathfinder collection.
The Beta versions of the products have been impressive, and the sneak peeks offered of the art and covers have been extremely exciting.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone playing in or planning to run a mythic game.
I have already implemented use of the Beta versions of these in the mythic game I GM and both myself and my players are loving it.

Thanks Jason, really looking forward to receiving the PDFs!
Myrryr, Path of the Genius (PotG) really interests me. I have an Alchemist and this mythic path fits him quite well. I am actually thinking about doing a Dual Path with PotG and Trickster. (That’s if my GM allows these books, which I am thinking he will).
What I really like on one of the things that’s been added (at least for Hero’s Handbook) is the ability to take mythic versions of your class abilities. The only thing I wish that was done instead was you received them on their own, like pick one every path level (similar to path abilities), instead of taking a slot away from a path ability or feat.
But that’s a minor gripe. Otherwise I really like what I’ve seen and thank you so much for all the hard work!
Myrryr
I am incredibly jealous of you Covent haha. I wanted to back it, but I didn't find it until after the kickstarter was over. Was very disappointed in that.
And yeah, the PotG is pretty awesome and I will definitely be taking it on my blaster caster in IG, despite it not being the best choice for a sorc/arcanist gestalt heh.

I'm truly jealous of everyone who backed this. I knew about it at the time, but literally couldn't afford a hit to my budget.
However...
My financial situation is much improved right now, and I will be buying these books when they go on public sale. Oh, I will be buying the hell out of them. If I've followed the Kickstarter details correctly, I will be getting hardcopy, pdf, and Hero Lab files for them. Price be damned. That's how awesome I think this whole project has been.

AT LAST! The HeroLab files for the Mythic Spell Compendium are available RIGHT NOW from LoneWolf!
The Mythic Hero's Handbook is in our sights next, with the base coding complete and having passed through its initial testing. Once some code revisions are complete it'll be headed back to LoneWolf, and we are looking forward it becoming available soon as well!
We have plenty of other great mythic content coming along as well, including our ongoing Mythic Minis focusing on feats of intrigue, mythic versions of every spell from Ultimate Intrigue, and continuing exploration of mythic monsters of our very own mythology, including a great review from Endzeitgeist for Mythic Monsters: Norse! Check it out right here!

Makes perfect sense. I will purchase your books once they are generally available. You have given me faith that mystic levels can be playable.

Excellent! I have purchased them!
I know HeroLab is a huge pain for you, but the PFRPG rules are so complicated that at this point my wife and I each only use rules available in HeroLab. I recognize that this means that there's a lot of amazing content we're ignoring, but there's still so much available to us that we'll never use it all.
Thank-you again for putting this into HeroLab!

Just to mention: they are generally available, and in fact there's now a bundle option to buy all three of the mythic mania books at a discount.

True indeed. In fact, if you're into discounts you can even get some of the books half price if you don't mind books with a bit of a nick or bent corner in our non-mint "scratch and dent" bin!

Hey Jason - If you don't mind, I have a quick Hero Lab question.
What is the status on the Mythic Mania Hero Lab files? I've purchased the Spell Compendium files and I see that the Mythic Mania books are now available in the hero configuration tab, but none of the Mythic Heroes Handbook options are actually showing up in Hero Lab yet. Do you know when these options will go live?

I was wondering this same thing. As soon as Mythic Monster Manual and Mythic Heroes Handbook HL files go live I'm throwing money at them...
The most recent information I have is that:
1. The Mythic Monster Manual HL files should be live some time in the next week as a special release (not part of the monthly Pathfinder release). I had hoped it would be ready by today, but not quite. This should be very soon, though.
2. The majority of the Mythic Hero's Handbook HL files will be released not too long thereafter (I wasn't given a specific date).
3. The remaining Mythic Hero's Handbook HL files (which are things that ended up creating coding problems because of the quirks of how they interacted with the system - I think the mythic class abilities were the biggest culprits here) will be released once the code issues with them are resolved.

I have a quick question in regards to Legendary Game's plans for further Mythic options. Is there any chance we will see the Mythic Class Options for the remaining classes, such as the hybrid classes (hunter, shaman, etc.)? I had to come up with some homebrewed mythic class options for the hunter since one of my players wanted to play a hunter. Quite frankly, it was rather perplexing given how the majority of the animal companion class feature (from druids) is staggered across the hunter's class levels. Not to mention their unusual teamwork feat options and animal focus class ability. Ugh.
Cheers!
CB out.

After consulting with our Kickstarter backers, we are planning to move ahead with a staggered release on the HeroLab for the Mythic Hero's Handbook. Phase 1 will be mythic path abilities and mythic magic items, with mythic feats and other mythic elements to follow. Phase 1 should be part of this month's Pathfinder release at LoneWolf, but we'll keep you informed once a final launch date is given to us!
