This exchange has a great bit of drama and I think really shows the different personalities clashing in the best way (and makes me miss Andjela even more).
Here's a tender exchange between Tolvan and Anna which also moves nicely into the group's first meeting with the Beast of Lepidstadt.
Here's the start of the rather intense fight with possessed-Pyotr back in Harrowstone. Don't know if you saw that yet.

Hello, Recruitment Boards!!!
This extremely long-running Carrion Crown game has once again found itself outlasting its GM. No disrespect to the awesome GMs who alternately got this game started and kept it running, but we are again in need of someone else to step up to the plate.
Quick synopsis: We are a group who has run through the first two books and probably halfway through the third. We've just completed Ascanor Lodge and the Stairs to the Moon. So where we've left off, we're on the chase after the Whispering Way toward a ghost town, and meanwhile a couple characters have been bitten by werewolves and are worried that they may have become infected.
So we're in a tense race against time, and we'd all really like to continue this story.
Here is the first page of our epic journey.
And here's where we've left off.
Obviously, over seven thousand posts is a lot to catch up on, but hopefully that will give some indication to how long we've been going and how dedicated we've been to this game.
We'd all really like for a skilled GM to take this campaign and keep it going. Thanks for checking us out!

I might be willing to take this if there are no other takers but I'm beginning to think your game is cursed...
I've run CC twice, and have just finished Book 4 for one group. I try to keep a brisk pace, and do not pull punches on monsters. If a high mortality rate is a turn off, I would not be a good fit for this campaign (I think it loses something if the monsters aren't true threats).
This is by far my favorite of the published APs I've run or played in so far.

Hi, Shady! Thanks!
I'm reposting this since it's got some links to some of the (in my opinion) best scenes we've had as a group. I doubt you have the time to go through so much backstory, but here's a few highlights to give you a sense of the characters. I'll try to go through our most recent GM's pages to focus on how we've developed. Plus, Oathar had joined us at the same time as Old Guy, so he needs some representation.| GM Shady |

Hi, I read them before originally chiming in, and will probably end up - being something of a preparation nerd - reading through the entire 7200+ posts but am not kicking off that exercise until and unless you guys confirm. If might be good - not just for me but for any potential incoming GM - for you guys to think about how you'd summarise the high and low points of the campaign thus far, what loose ends are still in place, whether there are story hooks you're really keen to explore, etc.
If it were me I'd probably go round and ask about those things while waiting for Paizo to switch the campaign owner.

Well, hey, anyone willing to read the entire story up to this point definitely gets a vote from me.
As for highs and lows, lemme think...
The main high has been the character interactions, the way the personalities mesh and, occasionally, conflict. At the outset, I had pitched my character as one willing to be scared -- what I feel is vital to a horror campaign. There's no horror if everyone's the steely-eyed hero who looks unflinching into the abyss. So Anna's the pragmatist, always questioning whether she should be getting involved, and willing to freak out when something terrible happens. It's only through her relationships with the other characters that she's stuck with them.
I think we've had some fairly colorful fights, and though our characters are built a bit on the powerful side (I think GM Mug gave us a 25-point buy), we're not min-maxed, either. So there have been several harrowing fights that could have gone either way. It's also let us do some rather sub-optimal things during the fights in order to let our personalities show.

Hi GM Shady. Sorry for my delay. I only now learned of your offer to pick up our game. I like what I hear from you and would be thrilled if you are willing to GM for us. I usually post at least once daily and will do what I can to help catch you up and to make the game fun for all. You have my vote!
