Silver Crusade

One of my all time favorite fantasy artists and probably my top favorite classic D&D artists. This is awesome. :)

And this is also the year I can't make it to GenCon. D:

If you're going, check him out! And try not to let any cardboard standees of the Lady of Pain cast their shadow on you.

The man's artwork brought Planescape to life. I also have his collection of card capsules for my Pathfinder games.

Don't feel bad. I'm not going to GenCon either!!!

I will sit and sulk with you two in our can't-reach-GenCon corner (even if I would probably prefer coming for PaizoCon).

You wanna make blanket fort in mean time? I have a blanket with a big picture of nice wolf on it, what's yours?

Mine is just a comforter....

But I have empire strikes back sheets I saved from when I was a kid!

makes snowspeeder sounds

Silver Crusade

4 people marked this as a favorite.

Yeah! Let's all not go to Gencon together!

simple blue comforter here

I need to dig out that issue of Dungeon that DiTerlizzi did all the artwork for. I love his Planescape work to death and consider it a cornerstone of the setting, but his other D&D artwork was great too. Had a real timeless quality to it.

Truly. My relationship with Planescape is strained, but I will always love his art.

One of my idols and major inspiration of my life as an artist (along with Brian Froud).

DiTerlizzi would shape what I expect art to be in a RPG (incidentally, I was also drawn to Pathfinder for the coherency and consistency of their art).

I've boxed all of my 2ed AD&D stuff except for Planescape Monster Compendium I and II, the Planewalker's handbook, the Factol's Manifesto and Uncaged: Face of Sigil which I consider works of art. I wish I still had the comic that went along the first WoD's Werewolf: The Apocalypse. I managed to lose the one that came with Hellbound too, gaahhhh.

I didn't know the werewolf comic was available as a separate comic. if possible, I would have him sign my ancient, falling apart copy.

Liberty's Edge

I don't even get to regularly attend the pathfinder society, let alone a convention.

my state sucks ass and should die in a fire, they have ONE store that sells pathfinder books.

I have a bunch of hand knitted blankets. We can all make a fort

*places freshly bathed guinea pig on mizake, places guinea pig who has sharp claws and is afraid of stuff on freehold*

it's cool. I like guinea pigs. And they like me.

Liberty's Edge

This one likes to hide, if shes out of her cage and not in a tunnel like area, she shakes and vibrates and generally freaks out.

I have a picture, but this site is odd.

I have taken the "friend to guinea pigs" trait as part of my backstory. It's cool.

We'll make a place to hide for her out of spare blankets.

It was detached, recycled from one of my friend's water damaged book IIRC.
