I'm looking for a fourth (and possibly fifth) player to round out the party after a couple of losses.
The game is set in the world of Exodus, from the NeoExodus: A House Divided Campaign Setting. Psionic characters will be using the rules from Ultimate Psionics.
Characters need to be 2nd level, 20 point buy, and one of the standard Exodus races. Basic knowledge of the campaign setting is a plus.
Current Party Roster:
Broderick Cromwell, human machinesmith 2
Kon-Tao, cynean machinesmith 2
Master Parisos, prymidian arcanist 1/oracle 1
A few house rules will be in effect, as well as Paizo's Critical Hit Deck and Ultimate Plot Decks: Twist of Fate by LPJ Design.
Further info can be found in the discussion thread. Please keep any questions or comments to the recruitment thread until I've decided to bring you into the game. Thanks.

I'll probably give it another four or five days.
I don't expect anyone to be an expert by the time their character is finished. An understanding of the races and class archetypes so that you can create a character you'll want to play is enough to start with. I can fill in backstory and history as needed.

I allow third party material on a case-by-case basis. So long as I can review it first, there usually isn't a problem. So far I haven't come across any third party stuff that I've had to flat-out deny.
The playtest material is tricky, because at this stage what we have to work with could be a far cry from the end result. If your character is still in play once the official version comes out, there would likely be changes necessary.

We need someone to be able to Tank for sure.
Maybe someone more of a skillmonkey too.
I think the rest of us are some kind of caster.
Ehhh, we have two skill monkeys in the form of twin machinesmiths. I think we're good there.
Also the cynean is pretty tanky already with a 20AC in only studded leather.
Really what is needed is someoen capable of acting as the party face when we need to talk at things rather than menace them with a variety of sharp and whirring implements.
Beyond that a Divine caster, someone capable of buffing, and one person more dedicated to control in combat will round out the group nicely.
Out of combat a good dedicated face will work best.
So from that a paladin won't go unwelcome we don't really have any characters that offend too much in that category. Clerics of the Kaga might be attracted to this particular group.
